I work in a large international manufacturing and services company. It is a global slowdown and while, 3 months ago, we were anticipating growth in the latter half of this year, we not expect further declines and are planning accordingly. Which means more white collar layoffs and a significant reduction in China growth.
China is barely afloat right now.

There is a lot of speculation that China will not get a soft landing. Japan has gone to negative rates already. The Fed is nuts if they think they can raise interest rates.
