Mysterious illness causes fainting and panic, forcing American Airlines flight to turn around

An American Airlines plane was forced to turn around Wednesday when multiple people on board the London-to-Los Angeles flight were struck by a mysterious illness.
Passengers on the plane became fearful after one flight attendant collapsed and rumors of airborne contamination spread throughout the cabin, according to accounts from several people on board. The plane was in the air for more than two hours and was flying close to Keflavik in southwest Iceland and when it turned around and headed back to London, according to CBS News.
“It was probably as tense as anyone wants to be 30,000 feet in the air,†passenger Eric Winter told CBS.
“I saw an older gentleman — unfortunately, he had thrown up all over himself,†he added.
One flight attendant “literally just fainted … just fell forward, put her hand out and hit the floor,†passenger Kris Evans told ABC News. “It was crazy.â€

Pressurization, or lack there of in this case, sounds likely. Without knowing much else I can’t reach back to my engineering days.
If it were poison it would be everyone. If it were food born it wouldnt happen after two hours of half a pop and bag of pretzels.

Why didn’t they land in Iceland? Newfoundland? Why go all the way back when you are halfway home?
My gut feeling is another terrorist attempt, something toxic in a 4 ounce bottle of shampoo.
But.....
It won’t be revealed, i’ll bet on that.
Be on the lookout that TSA goes into panic mode, no carry ons at all.

This is like the third or fourth time this has happened.
It’s being hushed up and I know some of the flight attendants are having serious lung complications from the first couple of times it happened.
