Actress Susan Sarandon says she is backing Bernie Sanders for the White House because of Hillary Clinton's vote to authorize the war in Iraq.
Sarandon described the 2002 war vote as the most consequential foreign affairs action of her lifetime.
"She failed me," Sarandon said of Clinton's vote in favor of the war.
"That wasn't just a mistake, it was a disaster."
Sanders has hammered Clinton over the vote, which she now calls a mistake. The issue came up during the Democratic town hall earlier this week in Iowa, the state where the first ballots of the primary contest will be cast on Monday.

This appearance was in Iowa City and a brigade of Univ of Iowa students was bussed in (and likely rewarded with free pizza and Starbux coupons) to give the impression of Clinton popularity among youts.

Hillary didn’t “fail” you. She failed the brave men helping to guard ambassador Stevens. She failed all the those in Benghazi as they came under organized terrorist fire. She failed the brave men who paid with their lives, tying to protect the ambassador. She failed families of those who were killed attempting to protect the ambassador from the terrorists, when she lied to their faces as their remains were unloaded within flag draped coffins. She failed them again as she had her minions lie over and over again about why they died.
And she failed them in the worst possible way, as she now claims that those families either “misremember” what she said, or even calling them outright liars.
Sarandon, your feeling are hurt, and you claim Hillary failed you, because you didn’t get your way.
Hillary failed us, through her ineptitude and inability to do the job to which she was appointed. And now she wants to be POTUS!
