"....That $100,000 gift from Trump to the Boehner-allied super PAC was twice as big as his next-biggest contributions. [Trump's] given $50,000 .. to Karl Rove's American Crossroads (2010) [and $50,000 to] the pro-Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) Kentuckians for Strong Leadership (2013)..."

And why shouldn’t he take a political donation?

Do you think Trump is going to refuse political donations if he’s in the general election?

I would say that Trump has done more for Cruz than you ever have.

“sundance” was recently revealed to be a paid staff member in Trump’s campaign. He has lost all credibility. Do you want to know his real name? Her real name?

And please note that Trump gave McConnell’s PAC another $10K in Oct 2014 (over and above the $50K Trump gave McConnell’s PAC in May 2013).

It is not enough to say how much went to Republicans, without saying which Republicans. He has mostly supported the liberal, squishy wing of the GOP. Supporting McConnell and Boehner is the same as supporting Obama.

So, are you suggesting Cruz is involved in some sort of money laundering operation?

He used them because it was easy to do.

I can see him now holding dollar bills in his hand and seeing how high they'd jump for the dollars.

Everyone knows they were bought a long time ago.

They'd sell their souls to the devil for cash and probably have.

I gave you figures compiled from the FEC since 1997. Trump does not give 10 million to PAC’s like the private equity man from TX who used a Puerto Rico address as it’s a means to lower taxation and move money out of the US.PAC’s are a problem as they put elections in the hands of the wealthiest. Look at Clinton. Yes Cruz knows all about the tax advantages Puerto Rico offers that were enacted to attract money from wealthy Americans. The wealthiest people are using places like Puerto Rico to avoid US taxes. Cruz is not against that. Trump said he’d change the tax laws to get that money back here as it is one of the three factors of production. Land, labor, and capital.Cruz also took part in a lawsuit against a US citizen who had designed a tire. Cruz inadvertedly helped the Chinese. That was not intentional to my knowledge.

I was fooled by a number of Republicans running in 2008, again in 2012 and 2014 really pisses me off. The promises made were all broken. Last year when we gave them the Senate and they have done ZIP. Don’t think I am a happy camper with the GOP as I have received a number of letters from Priebus since the first of the year. All are about RNC membership. I told Priebus several times NO MORE. Interestingly, Priebus, Walker and Ryan are all from the same area of Wisconsin.

No, but; he damn sure is the perfect example of the liberal’s definition of a Republican. Cruz is supported by PAC’s who mostly benefitted from TARP plus they are among the wealthiest Americans and most have money outside the US. Trump says he is going to get that money back here as it is much needed capital to create jobs here.

Even if true, it does not invalidate the factual reality in the blog.

btw, Levin’s step daughter is a paid staffer for Rafael Cruz - a far more troubling relationship.

And your boy Trump is a conservative, republican, progressive, liberal, pro-choice, pro-life, for gun control against gun-control and buys off who he wants as long as it fits his narcissistic needs... it’s all about what benefits him. When it doesn’t then he’ll change accordingly.

Ok, he’s a great lawyer. That’s just what we need, another lawyer. I have no doubt that he is principled and I actually like his views (except on H1B and trade). However, he’s been a senator for 3 years and hasn’t accomplished anything yet to further display his conservative bonafides. In my opinion, he took a step back when he was owned on TPP/TPA and H1Bs. And yes, he changed his mind. However, it was too late since the vote happened and his name was on it. Trump is no where near as conservative, but so far, he has espoused conservative stands such as immigration, gun control, and trade. The fact that he is willing to upset the apple cart of the establishment is like icing on the cake.

A lot of your opinion there. Rafael Cruz has been a know it all since Princeton and most likely before. Where is Cruz’s MD sister? When does he mention the sister who OD’d as he could really help some younger folks? He brings the old man around and the old man’s Cuba stories make Kerry look half decent.

Rafael isn’t running last I checked and as far as family goes I’ve got a far left liberal brother.. we don’t speak at all which is fine by me and I don’t judge folks by their family. May want to think about that because you can’t pick your family.

As for Ted Cruz talking about his sister’s death all you have to do is look:

http://www.politico.com/story/2015/06/ted-cruz-time-for-truth-book-half-sister-death-119549

You want to bow down to Trump feel free. I don’t buy his BS. He’ll be whatever he needs to be to get whatever he wants. He’s covered all sides on every issue depending on what he gets out of it.

Rafael is Ted’s name too. His father came to the US in 56, not 59 and he never fought one day with Castro. This BS by Ted about his father and Castro is BS.
