Texas Democratic Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee said President Obama has already successfully secured the U.S. border, and objected to the tone of a House border security bill she said militarizes the country.
"The president has spent $108 billion on border security, and we have been successful," Jackson Lee said in a Homeland Security committee markup Wednesday. "Oh we've had our moments, but we have been successful."

This isn’t a reflection of higher education, but AFFIRMATIVE ACTION. We are all to pretend that this ignorant token is “educated”.
There is a big difference between a degree in the hands of a preferred token and that of a real student. Remember when the term “gentleman’s C” was batted around concerning W’s education? Let’s add “token degree” to our lexicon, to describe meaningless unearned degrees awarded for diversity’s sake.
She doesn’t get out and about much
It is much harder to get into those elite schools - unless you're black - than to graduate from them. Once you're in, it's pretty easy to coast through at the bottom of the class with worthless, slacker degrees. They don't kick anybody out except in the most egregious situations. So if you're black you can easily get into these schools and emerge with a degree. Barky and Moochelle played this game as well, though even they aren't as stupid as SJL. The irony is that these people then think they're something special because they have a "prestigious" degree when in fact they're just affirmative action idiots.
