Which is odd. You would think he would have vetted Beck’s speech ahead of time not just turned him loose. Doesn’t anyone follow basic political protocol anymore? I get Cruz was desperate to ‘trump’ the Palin endorsement but this was badly done.

Cruz is toast. He won't recover from that.
If I were him, I'd get on the phone to Trump and see if that Supreme Court appointment is still in the cards.

From a position of motive inquiry, if he can help purchase a White House victory for either candidate (Cruz or Fiorina), obviously the scales could be tipped in his favor.
Barton now appears to run "KtP1" in addition to being Co-Chair for Beck's Mercury One charity.

San Antonio was one of his first affiliates back when he hosted out of Tampa. It’s sad he turned to LDS, but his leaving Fox was not the cause of that.

I'm all in for Trump, not because he is the better man but because he can actually win the presidency and it's a must win situation this time out.
I'm praying for a Trump/Cruz ticket... I know it seems unlikely after the recent animosity betwixt the two good men but I keep reminding myself how much Americans love a good reconciliation.
After Trump starts running the table it will be time for kiss-and-make-up ... and then a Trump/Cruz barnstorm across the USA!

I say Barton is a fool because I am certain it happened in my family. Years ago there was a black Federal Judge on the short list for the Supreme Court with the same last name as mine. When I saw a picture, I was shocked that he looked like he could have been my father's black brother. My father had a very distinctive look, so much so that it could not have been anything but shared DNA. In case you may wonder, yes, my relatives held slaves as documented in census records and wills.
Beck wants atheist communist immigrants who might come to Jesus to flood our immigration system. Maybe Chief justice Cruz can hear that case. That aside I thought you folks didn’t put anyone on the witness stand without knowing first what he’s going to say.

if this is actually the case, then i’m breathing many sighs of relief. it was a very small number of people posting these hundreds of anti-trump articles every day, and if they are gone, I for one welcome it.

No matter what anyone thinks of Beck, I trust Barton explicitly.
Ted Cruz, IIRC, was always an appellate lawyer and not a trial lawyer. Still, that was a terrible lapse in judgment. Trump kinda had the same problem when he unleashed Sarah Palin, but then Sarah Palin was a known quantity. Cruz should have known that Glenn Beck was a loose cannon. This was a self inflicted wound.
