“I probably identify more as Democrat.”

“I’ve been around for a long time. And it just seems that the economy does better under the Democrats than the Republicans.”

“Nancy — you’re the best. Congrats.”

“Bush is probably the worst president in the history of the United States.”

“I’m totally pro-choice.”

“I want to see the abortion issue removed from politics. I believe it is a personal decision that should be left to the women and their doctors.”

“I’m very liberal when it comes to health care. I believe in universal health care.”

“The Canadian plan also helps Canadians live longer and healthier than Americans… We need, as a nation, to reexamine the single-payer plan.”

“By imposing a one-time 14.25 percent net-worth tax on the richest individuals and trusts, we can put America on sound financial footing for the next century.”

“I think he [Obama] has a chance to go down as a great president.”

It wasn’t a lie. It was mistake. I thought these were Lindsay Graham quotes. Turns out they have been verified to attributed to someone else. My mistake.

Did they not say this about the hollywood Californian Democrat Ronald Reagen before he became a republican and ran for the presidency?

You are ignoring the fact that Ronald Reagan switched parties two decades before he was elected president, and in the interim served two terms as Governor of California, where he established himself as a strong conservative leader.

Maybe Trump should prove his conservative bona fides with a term or two as New York governor.

Trump supporters, these are Trump quotes, always say thing like these quotes were taken out of context. They always have an excuse. All you do is decide is that Trump will fix this country, believe with all your heart, and it must be true. But it isn’t. Trump is everything we don’t need: rude, crude, and self-centered.

The entire premise of this thread is deceitful, underhanded, and manipulative. Any politician - Trump, Cruz, Reagan - can have some of their past quotes used in such a way that they can look to be attributed to someone such as the repellent Lindsey Graham.

My point is that this is not only dishonest, but even childish.

Do you like being manipulated and lied to?

Are you happy with this sort of deception on FR?

Do you like being treated like a child by a fellow FReeper?

No I don’t like how Lindsay Graham manipulates us and lies to us.

No, and that’s why I would never support the proven liberal manipulator and conman Donald Trump. It is hard to believe that a conservative website is falling for Trump’s deception.

Debate is futile with you.

I tried.

You have too much growing up to do.

Just what we need: another self-centered narcissist. All you need to do is go back and read his liberal manifestations from the original sources. Looks like I might have to vote for this POS work of art in the general, though.

I think you got your desired effect. Well done, good sir - well done. Trumpistas are free to support him, but they need to have the truth of who and what this man really is constantly thrown in their face.

Lighten up. teg_76 is just using a little satire to show the liberalism of Trump.

Yes. God forbid someone states facts about another candidate. They should get banned for stating quotes because it irritates... You.

I guess you feel Free Republic should ban 1st amendment rights? Freedom of speech?

Let's not forget these quotes:

We should improve and streamline legal immigration ... every year US colleges and universities educate tens of thousands of foreign students who are getting masters and PhDs in engineering and math and computer science, and we are sending them back to their countries. And as a result, they are going back to their countries, they are starting businesses there. They are creating jobs there, and their companies are competing with us and taking jobs away from us. I don’t think that makes any sense. So, I have introduced legislation to increase the number of H-1B visas

I voted no on cloture because we should have insisted on amendments to put real teeth in this bill. Ultimately, I voted yes on final passage because it may delay, slightly, President Obamas ability to lift the Iran sanctions and it ensures we will have a Congressional debate on the merits of the Iran deal.

On his vote for the TPA "But at the same time, my top priority in the Senate has been jobs and economic growth."

Some conservative. Oh wait, that was Ted Cruz. Sorry about that.

Positively clever and enlightening (for some) post!

I note that Ann Coulter is also for Trump. She is one of my favorite all-time women, but she is such a mark for disingenuous Republican candidates who jilt her; she turned flip-flops for Romney, who in his own words is “...a severe conservative...”, she was positively wet for Chris Cristie, she supported Mitch McConnell in our Senate race here in KY in 2014 against Matt Bevin, and loudly proclaimed McConnell as a rock ribbed conservative whose machinations would redeem our country from Obama and the Marxists.
Instead, he pushed the latest spending bill and voted to seat a Marxist federal judge for Obama.

Boy did I get off the subject of the thread...

I am not decided for Trump. What I object to is a deceitful, childish attempt to make his claim rather than the adult method of simply laying out the facts. I’ve been here a long time, so please save your lectures for someone else.

Trump was my #2 but then he clearly mocked the disabled dude and lied about it, was the final straw for me. His bashing is unseemly. His intimidation of the press makes Nixon look like a saint. His determination to ruin any who disagrees with him I have found out since is life long.

Do you mean that it is not nice to intimidate the liberal media who is hell bent to destroy him/Cruz or any other GOP nominee? Should he be nice to them, like we have done for the past 30 years? How about the "conservative-establishment media" who wishes to destroy him? Should he not say anything to upset the independents?

I'm glad that he is taking them on and showing them for who they are (either liberal or establishment).
