Trump’s core supporters are more defined by having unhinged, unreasoning anger toward ALL institutions (political, media, religious, etc.) than having any political ideology. They are often confused, emotionally damaged people who enjoy lashing out aggressively at any convenient target.

The head of the Service Employees International Union is worried about what Donald Trump is stirring up in her 2.1 million members, because she thinks he can win.
In an interview with David Axelrod on his podcast "The Axe Files" out Thursday, Mary Kay Henry said her organization is going into "hyperdrive" to stand up against Trump because she sees him as a real threat.

The Autobiography of Malcolm X is an American Classic, well worth reading.
Malcolm X was a black separatist who advocated self sufficiency for blacks—taking care of their own families, building their own businesses and communities. His message was, stop expecting whites to take care of, or even respect, blacks who don’t respect themselves.
What’s not to like about that?
He railed against the defeatist pathologies in the black community—alcoholism, drugs, crime, gambling, playing the numbers, slutty women. He admonished blacks to dress modestly, stop conking their hair and using foul language, and conduct themselves with dignity. And he advocated self defense. He was a 2A supporter all the way.
While his association with NOI, and subsequent adherence to mainstream Islam is certainly not agreeable to me, he had the guts to renounce Elijah Mohammad as a shyster as soon as he realized it, and thats’s what led to his assassination.
Also in his defense, there was no ISIS or AlQuaeda in Malcolm’s day. He was renouncing the racist black supremacy—and violence— of NOI in favor of what he truly believed was an openness to people of all races in mainstream Islam, which at that time appeared moderate. He came out in favor of peace and mutual respect between races. Elisha and Farrakhan’s homies offed him for it—essentially for “acting white” or even suggesting that white people aren’t evil.
Had he lived, I believe he would have continued to evolve.
I suspect Katrina Pierson is likewise aware of the positives vs. negatives in Malcolm’s legacy. Trump’s choice of Pierson is speaking to those positives, and is telegraphing that message to the black community, which will bring in the votes. It’s one of the smartest things he’s done, IMO.
Blacks are getting wise to the Democrats. Trump’s being crazy like a fox.
