An upstate New York village has decided to change its official logo Friday weeks after residents decided to keep it despite critics calling it a racist emblem.
Whitesboro’s logo appears to show a white man choking a Native American. A non-binding vote earlier this month saw residents vote 157-55 to not change the current seal. A timetable for a new seal has not been determined.
Village officials and members of the nearby Oneida Indian Nation will meet to discuss the creation of a new image, Mayor Patrick O’Connor said

Why is that? It’s their logo. Same as the Confederate flag became the symbol of the South.
We’ve been watching this on the local news for the past month or so and questioning how the Town Board can override the will of the residents/taxpayers overwhelming vote in favor to keep it. No doubt the Town Board has been infiltrated by NYC liberals, which seems to have become the norm up here.
If the logo were reversed (the Indian appearing to be overpowering the white man) then this would never have been an issue.
Gay marriage, violent Indians getting their comeuppence....anything that takes the fancy of bored, lonely, unattractive losers will be forced upon us.
Interesting, the seal has a historical significance.

Betcha the left would rather see on the seal a couple of non-white muzzie homo’s dissecting a still living white aborted Christian baby while smoking pot in front of a Soviet flag.
So many leftist bases would be covered there they could not possibly refuse it. It’s such a good idea Hitlery should adopt it as her new campaign logo.
