everything I want as President of our great country

I have no idea where you have been, especially since you just signed up here, but America is no longer great. Both wings of the establishment party have hollowed out our manufacturing base by overtaxing and over regulating it. They have both supported increased federal intrusion into every aspect of local affairs. They both support the ascendency of the liberal media. Cruz has demonstrated that he can take on the establishment but not the guts to tell the media to go to hell to their face. Perhaps that is the go along to get along strategy but it has not attracted the disillusioned and disenfranchised voters.

Trump has done that. Trump is clearing the establishment and media underbrush which would allow someone like Cruz to walk through should Trump falter. The minor spats between the two are insignificant compared to the common interests they have had. Cruz has forced Trump to be more conservative. I would be a little more worried about some aspects of American and conservative ideals with Trump (vs Cruz) but I know that Trump can make America great wheres Cruz would be distracted and not control the media the way it needs to be controlled. Still Cruz would be a great president, but not as great as Trump.

That's where he fell short exaxtly. It's what so many of us knew needed to happen for anything to really be changed with this election. The guts weren't there. It's why we chose Trump.

Ah, yes, hide behind the owner’s skirt. So manly of you. This was once a conservative site. Hell, in 2012, the names that Jim Robinson called Mitt Romney were particularly harsh, yet he’s on his knees for Trump when he’s significantly MORE of a flip-flopper. EVERYTHING Romney was called - a gun-grabbing, baby-killing socialist, for example - can be applied directly to Trump using his own words. Does that matter?

Trump has never actually done anything politically, yet he’s held up as a paragon of virtue and the person who will “save our country” based on nothing more than vapid platitudes and empty promises. “Make American Great Again” is a wonderful slogan, but there’s no substance behind it. Sure, his website has policy points, but they weren’t written by him and Trump’s proven himself incapable of doing anything of the sort (such as elucidating policy points).

He isn’t conservative, based on his history of support for liberal positions and candidates, but that’s either flat-out denied or accepted. Hell, a significant portion of the Trump threads now state something to the effect of “conservatism is dead” and that it doesn’t matter. Trump’s brand of brain-dead populism is now what we need, apparently, and the legions of our very own “Peggy Josephs” are here to help him. The cult of personality didn’t work the last eight years and it certainly isn’t going to work now.

But have at it. Go cry when you want to live in an echo chamber instead of facing reality.

“How is that tinfoil hat of yours doing?”

Before you scoff at it, you had better look it up on your own.

They tried to get rid of the natural born citizen clause, so Franklin Delano Roosevelt Jr. would no longer be ineligible to campaign for President. Franklin Delano Roosevelt Jr. was also born in Canada, and he was generally regarded as being ineligible at the time due to his birth in Canada.

Jonathan Brewster Bingham, U.S. House of Representatives, New York, Democrat tried it again when he introduced a proposed Amendment to the Constitution which would have removed the natural born citizen clause: HJR 33 in 1975, “Provides that a citizen of the United States otherwise eligible to hold the Office of President shall not be ineligible because such citizen is not a natural born citizen.” This is just one of many examples where the Democrats and Republicans knew full well persons born abroad were not natural born citizens of the U.S. and were making repeated attempts to make them appear to be so by whatever crooked means they could get away with. Bingham was a Yale Law alumnus, a known member of Skull and Bones, and championed measures for the United Nations while being a member of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR). He took another shot at pushing through the Constitutional Amendment in his 1977 proposal in HJR 38.

Senator Orrin Hatch made a similar attempt on behalf of Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2001.

Then the Democrats really laid it on heavy with eight more attempts to either pass an Amendment or to obfuscate the law to create a means of ignoring the natural born citizen clause.

For the sake of expediency and brevity here read:

EVIDENCE BROADENS OBAMA NATURAL BORN CONSPIRACY

Look at how Fidel Castro came to be sponsored by the CIA and who was behind the individuals who were most closely responsible for managing him.

Ask yourself why Ted Cruz seeks to extend the same precedents currently being coerced upon U.S. citizens by the DNC and RNC organizations and people who have spent decades trying so unsuccessfully before to fully subvert the natural born citizen clause? Why does Ted Cruz and his wife have all of these close working relationships and/or affiliations with the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), United Nations, Goldman Sachs, and so forth; a happenstance occurrence or just another gambit by the Uniparty to stack the deck against U.S. voters by infiltrating their people into every campaign they can reach and influence? And, what is new about such clandestine affairs in politics?

Really? Did you take your marbles and go home out of principal? You would prove your conservative principals at the expense of America first?

But have at it. Go cry when you want to live in an echo chamber instead of facing reality.

Take a good look at your post.

Sounds like your train left the tracks a long time ago.

“Oh brother!”

Don’t give us the “Oh Brother” brush off. Those people did not spend all of that time and effort trying to get rid of the natural born citizen clause just for the recreation of doing so. If you think otherwise, then share it with the rest of us.

While you do so keep in mind the District of Columbia police investigator was assassinated the night before he was due to testify about his investigation of the case where the U.S. State Department passport files security was breached and the files for the Presidential candidates were tampered with. Also keep in mind the cover up of the assassination of Vincent Foster.

Keep in mind the Fast & Furious lawbreaking.

This business of putting a former or current Canadian citizen into the White House as President is nothing short of insanity.

Cruz rose a little in the polls and was leading in Iowa briefly. Some here took that as Cruz could win the nomination and the presidency. The media hyped it to add excitement. Carson fans thought the same thing when he was briefly leading. They both took a tumble.

Cruz has made a critical mistake, palling around with Beck.

Now Beck is out there saying Trump could become another Hitler.

Trump needs to dump his racist Malcomb-X fan.

Cruz needs to dump Beck.

Why zot? Because he supports the conservative candidate and posted about it?

We used to welcome those kind of new freepers.

Now we welcome those who smear conservatives, smear christians, and promote/make excuses for liberalism.

Mark Levin is holdonnow - you may already have known that. Not relevant for this topic, but an interesting tidbit for “FReepers you may know by other names.” Jonah Goldberg’s mom was “trixie,” and Barbara Olsen used to post here too. I forget her handle.

I met Mark Levin at an out of town FReeper gathering set up by the DC chapter at the bar of the Capitol Holiday Inn.
