In what universe did that happen? Back in 2008 Trump was a registered Democrat and very anti-Republican. Even in 2011, he said he had been “Obama’s biggest cheerleader.” And he said McCain shouldn’t have picked Palin, he should have picked Romney.

That is simply not true. Trump was a registered Democrat, who supported Hillary. He was strongly against Republicans. He was on TV about it all the time then. In 2011, he even said he was among Obama's cheerleaders. I have never even heard of any of his supporters claim that. When did that myth start?
