They could call themselves “Blanks,” “Nothings,” or “Neutrals.” Perhaps they could just pick a random number, like “The Fourteens.” But no matter what they do, I’m sure someone would find offense.

The top contenders which might include the Bobcats... Hold on just a minute! My Uncle Angus was once attacked by a bobcat. Angus lost part of a little finger, and his barely used mackintosh was torn to shreds.
So seeing the "Bobcat" name would cause him great anguish. If the school goes through with this microgression against bobcat victims, Uncle Angus is gonna sue!

It’s not unreasonable to suppose that the Turkish flag flies over Istanbul because the crusaders sacked - and fatally weakened - Constantinople. And they systematically exterminated large populations of Jews in Germany, Central Europe and the Middle East.
