Hillary campaign's response to latest email revelations reveals desperation
American Thinker ^ | 01/20/2016 | Thomas Lifson

It is hard to overstate the significance of the latest revelations about the national security catastrophe caused by Hillary Clinton’s private email server.  The nation’s highest-level secrets were kept on an unsecure server that is believed to be have been hacked by multiple overseas parties.

These revelations come from the nation’s Intelligence Community Inspector General Charles McCullough III, not some partisan.  He is a nonpolitical official who was confirmed by the Senate and entrusted with keeping our intelligence agencies honest.  For those readers who have not yet familiarized themselves with the revelations, Catherine Herridge’s exclusive report at Fox News must be read.  (Incidentally, Herridge deserves a Pulitzer Prize for her ongoing coverage of this story, though given the leftist bias usually seen in the Pulitzers, this is unlikely to happen unless Hillary actually is indicted – which is now far from unthinkable.)

McCullough’s report was supplied to senior members of oversight committees in Congress, which almost certainly means that it was legislators who leaked the explosive contents to Herridge.  His letter indicates that the highest-level secrets, called “Special Access Programs” (SAP), were found in emails on the homebrew server.  These secrets are so profound that McCullough himself had to obtain special permission to read the emails that were available to hackers in the employ of foreign nations and terror organizations.

.@brianefallon says Clinton emails werent classified when sent or received accuses Intel IG of working w/ GOP to leak selectively— Andrea Mitchell (@mitchellreports) January 20, 2016

People and programs were put at risk.  We may never know who dies, and which multi-billion-dollar programs had to be junked, but such consequences are reasonably to be predicted by exposure of secrets at this level.

This will be a true test of how far the country has fallen under Obama. Mendacity is one of The Left’s most prized virtues.

And I believe the dems would find a way around any state laws and draft him...even as late as the convention, if it meant keeping them in office. Makes me sick.

I wonder who is providing funds for O’Malley - the big donors?

I’m sure somebody can chime in here with the scoop.

If Hillary goes down, I don’t see any way the Dems run old Burney, there has to be some way they put in somebody who’s tight with the Chicago mob.

Number of State's Democrat Filing Deadline:

November 2015 and earlier (10%)
December 2015 (24%)
January 2016 (28%)
February 2016 (20%)
March 2016 and later (18%)

Time is expiring quickly, The Democrats may be forced to run a devote Socialist/Communist.

If you're right, and that's the only way to get him as the nominee, it's checkmate.

Bernie's loons would riot in the streets. It would be glorious.

He must have some "sugar daddy" somewhere.

He's the insurance candidate should the other shoe drop on Hillary.

Interesting that Lifson says Herridge should get a Pulitzer for her reporting. She should—for this and her EXCELLENT reporting on Benghazi. Without it, HilLIARy would not be in the trouble—political and legal—she now is.

Filing deadlines will not matter. You heard it here first. Look to the NJ example with Lautenberg and Torricelli.

No reason he could not be drafted in the convention.

If Hitlery is facing criminal and felonious charges, I imagine there is some way for the committed delegates to be released and Biden becomes the consensus candidate.

Bernie would be left sucking hind tit, assuming he does not win outright.

....And the left dares to talk about a third rate burglary, AKA Watergate, that caused Nixon*s demise!

OT,

I betcha that some of the intelligence is about Iran using NK as their nuke factory. Inspection of Iran will never find anything discriminating, they got the money, no more sanctions, they have the uranium mines, they will pay the Norks billions for ready-made bombs mounted on rockets and screw up the world.

0b0z0/ValJar regime is in effect subsidizing the Norks nuke industry.

In August 2015, Michael Savage interviewed 2 insiders familiar with Intel Ops.

Hillary’s email server was not a simple set-up. In order to receive classified/secret materials, it required a specialized set-up.

Regardless of what you think of talkshow host Michael Savage, everyone interested in how the intel ops function should listen to the 2 interviewees discuss the complexity of the emails system:

....I can’t believe the SecDef would consider removing a start from Petraeus without clearing it first with the WH......

I was wondering this myself. It sure seems coincidental that this info would come out days before this report was leaked. Almost certainly the White House was briefed on Hillary’s emails.
I think the message is being sent to Hillary: Expect the FBI investigation to be followed up by the DOJ.

The Democrats are in a DEEP, DEEP hole,

Whether Hitlery is indicted or not isn't near as important as to how she is viewed by the electorate.

Currently she is fading dramatically in popularity.

This report by the IG is only going to sink her deeper into the quicksand of controversy.

The "credibility hole" is so deep they're getting ready to start piping the sunlight to her.

Sorry, Alan. Classified info 101 dictates that information in the "public domain" does NOT negate the classification of the information.

When I was the S-2 (Intelligence Officer) in my last squadron, I routinely had to brief our officers and senior enlisted on various aspects of enemy equipment and order of battle. To do so, we pulled the shades on the windows in the doors to the Ready Room, posted guards outside the doors, fired up the old slide projector and proceeded. You see, this material was "classified" and had been locked in my safe a few minutes earlier.

What was this "classified" material, you ask? Well, most of it was photos and specifications of Russian T-54 tanks, first produced in March 1945 and similar equipment. Information that was readily available in Jane's or from a Revell plastic model. My lectures were in the late 1970's. And I'm fairly certain that the Russians knew ALL about T-54 tanks.

Classified materials remain classified until declassified by the authority which originally did the classification, or a relevant higher authority.

Hillary was neither. If any one in the military had done a fraction of what she has admitted regarding classified material, they'd be checking the dirt beneath the foundation stones of Ft.Leavenworth.

When Franklin Roosevelt died, Harry Truman had to be '"read into" the secrets of the Manhattan Project. As Vice President, he knew nothing about the huge effort to build the atom bomb. Information is power and is dangerous. That is why it is classified and access is restricted both as to security clearance and need to know. Queen Hillary, let alone her flunkies, may not have had both. Putting it on an unsecured server potentially gave access to all sorts of nefarious people (nefarious people other than Her Royal Highness and her stooges).

Prison time for Hillary, her IT guy/gal and all staffers who sent classified material to/through that server. Start with the IT guy and lower level flunkies. Some will sing and provide more evidence of Hillary's "High Crimes". Impeach/indict anyone in the Administration who tries to interfere, including the Emperor.

“Obama cannot allow a referral or indictment to go through, because she probably has enough information on him to spoil his legacy, or worse”

That is the prevailing theory, but I’m not sure Jarrett and the Puppet boy ever trusted her. She may not have that much on him, whatever she does might take down the whole party, which would give Buba second thoughts on letting her do it.
