Oh but it is..and very much so.....because he's not a conservative...he's a Rino ...

What matters is we do have a candidate running who is and has proven and shown that he is and with much consistency...and that's Ted Cruz.....and people want to throw that opportunity away for a glitz and glamored celebrity who has no foundation or loyalty to anyone but himself and his own agenda in which to further establish his persona worldwide. You say that ...."Trump will advance 'at least some' of our cause"....and we're suppose 'to settle' for "some" crumbs off his table when we have opportunity to dine at the banquet itself???????...Fools is all I can say....stubborn and foolish fools!!! I knew the public has been for sometime setting themselves up for deception......I certainly didn't expect to see Freepers fall for it.....it's such a sad and disappointing time here and in our country to see people throw in the towel to this blathering fraud...to their own hurt as what will come of this bad judgement will be something entirely different then they hope or think.

Your analogy assumes two things: 1) that Cruz is a "banquet" of conservative stuff just waiting to be served. Sure he is mostly good, but I seriously doubt he is 100% in line with all conservative things, or else he wouldn't have gotten as far as he as. 2) That things are salvageable under the current corrupt system. See, I don't believe they are. I believe that the current entrenched system will remain the same regardless off which token makes it to the White House. Trump is the closest we've ever had to a third-party player.

I don't want a guy who will work within the system because the system is corrupt. The rules of the new system are stacked against freedom-loving Americans. I want the system destroyed and rebuilt. Trump has already shaken the system quite a bit, getting away with saying politically incorrect things that nobody including Cruz ever had the balls to say. I'd just really like to see what havoc he can wreak on the status quo in four or eight years. He is a bull in the corrupt establishment china shop. It doesn't even matter if he has sympathies toward the Left here and there. Just the WAY he goes about things may shake them up. Cruz will go the conservative way and say a lot of things that make us cheer, but then be stymied at every turn, often by his own party.

The only way that Cruz would be better than Trump would be if, on his FIRST DAY, he cleaned out all the top personnel from the FBI, CIA, US Military, and all of the departments. Think he'll do that?

Our entire world operates under corruption....that does not mean it cannot be removed from the cogs of the machinery that does work.... We’ve seen that it can be throughout political History.

I would therefore say that though we are not voting for a Pope as President there is no question that certainly one would realize that their ‘character’ traits should be far better then average as President of this particular Nation.....

....So when the truth of who and what Trump is.. is ‘promoted’ by he himself, admitted openly and flagrantly, when the character of this man and the insincerity of his convictions (or lack thereof) are made so obvious, none should close their eyes to the truth, no matter how unpopular the truth may be..........Our country will not be helped by more godless, self-serving, petty, morally weak leadership.....Haven’t we had enough of that?

Trump warned a journalist, via one one his staff, who wrote of Trump recently,.... “I’m warning you, tread very f**king lightly because what Iâ€™m going to do to you is going to be f**king disgusting. You understand me?”......Would you call this a man of integrity, a man of honor, or one with any degree of persona to represent this country of ours? Is that what you really want to see and hear?

Let’s take it even further......If a man has ‘no moral center’,.... if he has ambition... but no faith,.... if he does not demonstrate a degree of humility or integrity, regardless of what heâ€™s done, what he says, or what positions he holds.... None of that will matter when we are living under his tyranny,... and tyranny is sure to follow when you give unspeakable power to a man who believes he is God.

....Putting this another way............. if you vote for a man who worships himself over God, you deserve the tyranny that happens next....You deserve it because you chose it,... ....If you go to the ballot box and say,....”I am going to do my part to put this self-absorbed pagan in charge of my nation” you are directly consenting to the inevitable result... You are embracing it.... You are literally asking for it.

I know none of these criticisms resonate with many Trump fans because Trump fans are fans of Trump. Period. Thatâ€™s all. The end..... They like him and whatever he says and whatever he does..... Itâ€™s a cult of personality like any other the world has seen.

However...our country was founded on Judeo-Christian principles, and it will only be saved if it returns to those principles..... That is, if it rediscovers its reverence for God, its belief in the dignity of human life, its understanding of justice and Natural Law, its respect for and recognition of Truth, etc. ......If our country continues to ignore and undermine these values, we will be destroyed.... We may or may not retain our name and our borders, but whatâ€™s contained inside will be dead and rotten and not worthy of saving anymore.
