The religion of mo-HAM-med came from a place where there was nothing to delineate one piece of sand from another, so the idea of a ‘nation’ was not within him.

Do not test the patience of the Swiss too greatly. Remember, they kept out totalitarians, both Hitler and Mussolini, with MUCH larger and better equipped armies than the Muslims can yet muster in Europe. And before that they resisted Napoleon, and various other Goth invaders going back centuries. When the Goths sacked Rome they found it much easier to approach the Roman outposts from the sea, than to try to cross the Swiss Alps, something that nobody since Hannibal has ever attempted.
