And he cannot say that he meant the liberal policy card because Austin and Houston are almost as liberal as NYC. He did not even know he was a dual citizen as a sitting Senator in 2013 and when he found out he took his time to renounce it.

U.S. Senator Ted Cruz vowed months ago to renounce his Canadian citizenship by the end of 2013. It's now 2014, and the Calgary-born Republican lawmaker is still a dual citizen. That is just weird that a sitting Senator would not know let along immediately renounce his Canadian citizenship once he found out.
