People would get an education on the word of “naturalization” and how it applies. Cruz won’t like it.

If Donald Trump sues Ted Cruz over the birther issue then “The Donald” has lost my vote, if he becomes the eventual nominee. I’ll stay home.

Ted Cruz has put us in this position, not Donald Trump.

You seem to think there was a way for Cruz to get the court to rule before he began his campaign. It doesn't work that way - sorry to rain on your Trumgasam.

Trump did say at the last debate he was not going to sue Cruz over the NBC, so yes this the flipper flopping yet again.

I agree. Let Cruz- or someone else, clean up Cruz’s mess. Trump shouldn’t allow himself to be distracted or diverted by this. And he should stay far enough away that none of the muck gets splashed on him.

His successfully being elected president is all the big favor we need.

“Bush-Rove will sue too because you can bet Justice Roberts will rule Cruz ineligible and Bush-Rove will find a way to steal Cruz’s delegates at a brokered convention. “

It’s like Trump wants to lose.

Why didn’t Trump sue six months ago when his very best lawyers that money could by looked into the issue and said Cruz was eligible for POTUS? Oh, yeah that’s right he has to go to Alinkysite tactics and sue now that Cruz is a threat and he may be losing his grip on the nod. Sue Donald sue! Just do it if you’re man enough and don’t talk about it!

He'd have done us a big favor by suing Obama about *his* eligibility. Yet, of course, it served no purpose for Trump so he wouldn't have pursued the issue.

Trump would have been ruled to have no standing like the rest of us if suing Obama about *his* eligibility.

IF I REMEMBER CORRECTLY The would be candidate form NYC made a rather large STINK about Obamas Eligibility.... but never...DID anything... about pursuing a lawsuit to clear up the “issuei”

Odd NOW...that he’d let a fellow Liberlal slip past...but GO After an AUTHENTIC CONSERVATIVE.

WHAT MARK LEVIN SAID

The courts want to duck it if they can.
They dropped the ball on Obama and for all practical purposes have changed the definition of natural born citizen.
Cruz is eligible if Obama was and they will find it that way if forced to.

One of the few things that Trump has said that I believe is that he hates to lose. Trump will not file suit against Cruz because he knows that it would be a waste of his time and money. Trump will continue to slime Cruz and do as much damage to his reputation as possible without spending any of his own money to back up his claims.

An old man like Trump’s slow reflexes would not have allowed him to run such a dishonest campaign for long in the days before duels were outlawed in this country. Trump is a bully who lacks the core values that separate men from gentlemen.

I would think that Trump does have standing. Cruz is possibly running a fraudulent campaign that Trump is running for the same position. I hope Trump sues. This will finally rid us of a horrible candidate in Cruz.
......
In all seriousness can you list a few things that make Cruz a horrible candidate? I am assuming you were not sarcastic.

Bush will sue too and Justice Roberts will find Cruz ineligible and Bush-Rove-Priebus will steal Cruz's delegates at the convention.

-- Cruz should have gotten this all cleared up before he even announced. --

If he got it cleared up first, he couldn't have announced. He's a naturalized citizen.

It all comes down to is the constitution a living document or should we enforce original intent.
Tribe who was Cruz’s professor said that while in college he supported original intent and that it is ironic now that to qualify for the office of president he must use the living document theory.

So is TC playing a role to get the issue in front of the SCOTUS. Only time will tell

Wrong attitude. If this is an issue, it needs to be resolved NOW. Not at the convention where Bush can possibly leverage this, or in the general where the Democrats will blow this wide open.

This absolutely, inarguably needs to be settled ASAP.

Trump would do everyone a service by pushing on this now.
