I didn’t see an angry person at all.

The battlefield has shifted.

I was REALLY hard on Trump back when he used ‘maniacal’ last year because Cruz did not offer him any excuse whatsoever. But when you punch someone, either hightail it out of there or lower your center of gravity and get ready for it.

Cruz gets nasty about Trump’s home city. Right or wrong, that’s how it is. Now Trump is free to take the gloves off.

Goldman is an influence buying and peddling controller of both parties.

Just like Trump.

Men who build things get very attached to locations. Trump is a New Yorker. To insult New York, fair or unfair, you might as well insult his sister, mom, and aunt at the same time.

Open season now. I admire what Cruz did to wake up New York about liberal ‘values’, but there is a political cost.

In that cozy family snapshot, I see Heidi Cruz not as the little woman standing by her man....I see a Goldman Sachs executive making $700,000 dollars a year as a privileged player in a system that/s scr$$ing me over. While hubby gets a break with loans from two New York banks and doesn/t disclose them. They/re living pretty good while millions can/t even get a COLA in their SS checks.

Cruz is looking more and more like also-ran Rick Perry. The ex-Texas governor kept bragging he was so popular....the longest-running Texas governor. But it was only when when Perry ran for president that trusting Texans found out he was giving their taxes away to illegals without telling them. Some Texans still do not know Perry was a guest speaker at the blood-thirsty La Raza.....and that Perry established a Muslim Sharia Court in Texas.

Now trusting Texans are learning horrific things about Cruz.

<><> he failed to tell them he was a dual Canadian citizen and was forced to renounce his Canadian citizenship when the Dallas Morning News exposed him.

<><> The Cruz election fairy tale has become legendary....Cruz/s campaign narrative of portraying himself as a scrappy populist putting everything on the line to overcome a wealthy establishment opponent.

<<> He was whining in the media, telling trusting Texas voters that that he and his faithful little wife were having to liquidate their entire family savings (of slightly more than $1 million) to fuel a come-from-behind win in the Republican primary.

NOW TEXANS LEARN Cruz did not liquidate family assets.....he got his hands on over a million dollars from his hefty margin account at G/S and Citibank......and did not disclose this on FEC reports (to keep it a secret from trusting Texans).

Most people would not have over a million dollars that they could easily liquidate to pursue their crass political ambitions.

Trump: "Ted Cruz is a very nasty guy." Well if Mr Clown says so, must be so. From the New York Daily News, Trump's New favorite newspaper.

Well, traditionally GS gets to pick sec of Treasury and maybe Fed types. Its a little greedy that they think there should be a GS president.

He blew it with his fast track for Obama stunt. The mask fell away on that betrayal. He authored the bill that ensured Obama could get TPP through.
On top of that, I agree with Savage, he has beady eyes and just looks like he would lie to you.

Said the pot to the kettle . . .

2008. Dullard GOP primary season got even worse when Mr. Excitement McCain got the nomination.

2012. Dullard GOP primary season got even worse with Bachmann promising $1.80 gasoline and Cain promising free pizza {or something, oh -- 9-9-9}.

2016. Has been entertaining since mid June when Trump entered the race. More fun that swatting flies away.

These kinds of dust-ups do show how the various candidates handle the small things, which is indicative of how they are likely to handle major things.

Tump still, and now Cruz, are dominating the political headlines, while poor John 'my daddy was a mailman' Kasich is still complaining that no one really knows who he is (after all of these national debates). And Carly is yelling, 'I'd make a pretty good VP, guys.'

Great observation about Trump’s Scottish-born mother...something has clearly set PT Trump off on his frenzied tweet-fest and this down-in-the-mud “nasty guy” language.

When Phineas T Trump has gone after Bush and others, his approach has usually been somewhat playful, like calling Bush “low-energy”, or Rubio a lightweight. This latest salvo against Cruz shows some real anger on Trump’s part. It appears that Ted has hit the bulls-eye on a Donald nerve. This may be that Cruz has not folded up like a cheap accordion like Bush and has punched back in the glass Trump jaw with the old Tim Russert video (which could be revealing to the Iowa Evangelicals who have heard Trump say he himself is an Evangelical) and the Scottish mother comeback. Trump knows he is in a fight now as Cruz is painting him as the true NY Liberal he has been over most of his lifetime.

Me too Ted has been riding Trumps' coat tails ever since Trump entered the race. Cruz started this war when Cruz told NYC donors, behind closed doors, that Trump was temper mentally unfit to be commander in chief. But what Cruz did not know was his statements were recorded. At first he tried to deny he said what he clearly said and then the tape was released. That is when the war began. Trumps response to Cruz was "said in public, much more fun that way".

Cruz does no like NY values but he sure likes NYC money, hypocrite!

I should add that Trump calling Cruz a nasty, deceitful guy will not jive with the Ted Cruz that folks are seeing on the stump and in the debates. IMHO, it actually shows Trump to be the nasty mud-slinger!

I find it interesting that you say this. I have looked in past post and there is literally not one post that discusses how Cruz is disliked. I mean, of course there are the individuals on this site that don’t like him and that is fair. But, as far as his “likability”... Never mentioned. Until The Don says it is a fact. Suddenly, this site is flooded with comments on how unlikable Cruz is and always has been. “Everyone knows this! Everyone has always said this. It’s common knowledge!”
This is not meant as a slam, just an interesting observation.

I agree with Trump on McCain. McCain is no war hero and he has smeared his goodwill that he had with decades of unsavory behavior after he got back. Dumped the wife who waited for years when he was a POW when she was badly injured in a car wreck.
Sold his POW status to betray the men left behind in Laos and to close all POW investigations. Carpetbagged a seat in Arizona.
Peddled that seat in the Keating 5 where he promptly turned songbird on the other conspirators.
Told us Obama was fine. Supported the illegal war in Libya and wants one in Syria, against the Russians, to support his ISIS buddies who he was photographed grinning with. One of his “moderates” was filmed literally cannibalizing the heart of a Syrian soldier. Not ISIS, an Al Nusra guy.
Also photographed grinning onstage with the worst Svoboda Nazi elements of the Kiev coup. Ignored the sane plan of Maidan leader Vitali Klitschko and went with the Svoboda bunch.

No, McCain is no war hero.

Hating those that have done better in life than you have? Class warfare? Hating big, bad, evil corporations? DU is the site you’re looking for.
