Notice that the NYT praised the release of the journalist with several paragraphs and only mentioned release of the Pastor and others as an afterthought.

I don’t listen to Cruz’s rallies, so I don’t know if he ever even mentioned them.

The mullahs and there bureaucrats realized that it put the big cash pay out and ending sanctions in danger of not happening because of the republican congress. Agree. Trump kept the hostages in front and center at EVERY rally. Over and over again. Some here complain that Trump is too repetitive in his speeches—I think they produce fruit BECAUSE he doesn’t let go and repeats over and over what the nation would rather sweep under the rug.
