Michelle Malkin: ‘My Base Is Fed Up with Fox Murdoch ‘Treacherous Bedfellow’
Breitbart ^ | January 15, 2016

Posted on 01/15/2016 1:21:57 PM PST by Hojczyk

Now more than ever Fox needs a firm hand on the wheel. In many ways, the channel faces the same rebellion from the grassroots that’s cleaving the GOP. “I can tell you, my base is fed up with Fox,” conservative commentator Michelle Malkin told me.

Malkin, who quit Fox as a contributor, actually goes after Murdoch for supporting immigration reform in her new book Sold Out (she calls him a “treacherous bedfellow”).

Rush Limbaugh, whom Ailes first put on television in the early ’90s, has said he “no longer watches cable news.” A Limbaugh friend told me the dig was made explicitly about Fox.

So far, the kvetching among conservatives has yet to become a business concern for Murdoch. But as he weighs Fox’s future — with or without Ailes — Murdoch must consider the risk that the backlash poses to his network.

Fox revolutionized cable news by offering a conservative alternative to CNN and the broadcast networks, and the long-term danger is that Fox’s audience starts to watch it grudgingly, hoping for an alternative. “After the big brouhaha with Trump, there was all the apocalyptic talk of the ratings cratering. But there’s still nowhere else on TV to go,” Malkin says. “There’s a big opportunity. These people are sick and tired of seeing Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC)38% all over Fox.”

This probably is the reason Fox has slightly mellowed its attitude.

The reason is Murdoch is transitioning to turning the Network over to his TWO sons. Both are LIBERALS and one is a close friend of Al Gore.

Expect more obvious shades of liberalism to eventually prevail if you continue to be a viewer.

I get my news without the benefit of FOX, CNN, ABC, NBC, and CBS.

He’s a parrot. Asking the same question to every guest. The same talking points. Ripping off everyone and not an original thought.

And he NEVER lets his guests answer a question. He's obnoxious...I stopped watching when he was still doing Hannity and Colmes.

What? Levin said Bolling and Hannity don’t talk to him anymore? WTH??? That’s pretty interesting inside stuff. When was this? Did he say what it’s about?

Her skirt was hiked higher than mid thigh.

Yes, the skirts are getting higher; and, honestly, I am beginning to think that they make those women wear clothing that is one to two sizes to small.

Is it also a requirement for all of the on-air female personnel to have breast implants?

I don’t watch Foxnews. I cut the cord.

I have Prime and Netflix and Plex when I want to access my computer.

I don’t miss any of it. I got a digital antenna for what ever sporting events I want to watch. If something is not on oh well :)

“treacherous bedfellow”

Good double entendre.

!!! Bolling and Vanity don’t speak to Levin any more? They’re cutting off their nose to spite their face.

Vanity I had that impression of. Bolling is a surprise.

I would try OANN if I could get it.

Checkout yiptv.com. OANN is among its free channels.

I do give credit to FOX for keeping the Benghazi story alive, surprisingly support for Israel, and the Jeanine Pirro show.

Same here!

Professional-politician-free since the GOP reneged on ALL of its 2014 promises in the off-year election (as they reneged on every promise for years). I am finished with GOPe, finished with career politicians and Washington parasites.

And haven't turned on Fox since that first Republican debate August 6.

I happily dropped FOXGOPE the night Meagain Kelly tried to change the course of history in the first Republican debate and have never looked back. It happens I support TRUMP and despised her personal assault against him and everybody else on the stage. Despicable, degrading and uncalled for to strip the dignity of another because you can.

Traded FOXGOPE in for “MORNING JOE” and am immensely pleased every single day, for three hours straight, thanks to DVR. They appear to have great respect and even regard for TRUMP and so do the lefties they interview apparently.

I believe this may be why TRUMP is faring so well among moderates and Democrats, because of Morning Joe coverage. He is on all the time, anytime he wants with call-in interviews and they give him whole segments of any hour!

I love MJ. This morning they went to Iowa and did a LIVE interview with TRUMP, and also one with Hillary, who has avoided them like the plague. They do NOT dig anything about Hillary Clinton. She must be desperate in Iowa and New Hampshire to be seen lowering herself to an open interview.

Plus .. Rubio and Bush show up constantly .. to the point that I rarely watch during the day anymore.

And .. I used to watch early morning during the week and weekends, but their weekend gal has moved to the daytime slot .. and I still don’t like her. Too immature; doesn’t know enough to be in that spot. And .. I haven’t noticed the two guys doing very much smiling since she got there.

I don’t know who’s taking her spot on the weekends yet .. don’t have a DVR anymore .. will try to catch it this weekend .. since I have to be up earlier than usual.

-— I believe this may be why TRUMP is faring so well among moderates and Democrats, because of Morning Joe coverage -—

Have you considered the possibility that the Left wants to run against Trump?

Do you remember how the media turned on McCain after he received the nomination?

At first I thought this title about “bedfellow” was referring to Brit Hume, then I saw Murdoch, and thought, Gosh, I haven’t heard about MURDOCH and Megyn!

Malkin’s a day late and bucks short. She must have just realized this anyways cause last year she was on Fox News about four times. Malkin has yet to see One America News Network or Newsmax TV and while Malkin was on Glenn Beck’s show she has forgotten the network.

They do it as some perverted way of showing they are fair and balanced,

Well, FOX started out with it being the conservative alternative to CNN and showing that there is another side of the news. In doing that they wanted to show that they could/would show both sides making the news fairer and balanced. You can't do that unless you show both sides! I don't see what's wrong with that as long as you end with the correctness of the conservative side of the issues.
