It’s FRIDAY!
Morning FRiends!
Good morning sneakers and the rest of the gang!!
Mornin’ everybuddy!
Good morning!
Anyone watch?
I was half paying attention. Was taking care of grandson. I got annoyed at the picking at each other but, OTOH, every single candidate made GREAT points! Even Kashich wasn’t too bad.
Jim is right...conservatives won!!!! GOPe lost!
Morning AM!
Cruz and Trump were joking about running together for pres/vice pres. Mr S and I have been believed, for awhile now, that they have that planned. I think the question of Cruz’s eligibility has been settled. They only have to look at the rules used when McCain was running. He was born out of the country OFF of a US military base. Of course, both of his parents were American.
Totally agree. In fact Trump might have pushed Cruz’s birth to get it out of the way.
Mrs p6 unusually cheerful this morning. Hmmm I think...maybe she checked a lottery ticket and found winner. Good news at work?
Nope.
Daughter is pregnant...again...her 4th, our 6th grandkid.
I’m going back to bed, under the covers and never coming out!!!!
Congrats, grandpa!
LOL! Congratulations! Get your rest now - while you still can! lol!
Congrats Pap!!! Blessed, happy news!!!
Enjoy that sleep while ya still can grab it:)
I did watch the debate. Both actually. I’m a glutton for punishment I guess. Some great answers. Trump TWICE got the best of Cruz (on the birther issue, which I agree I think was planned between them to get it “out of the way”) and on the New Yorker issue. Trump just nailed that one, as he had in press, invoking 9/11 and how NY survived, cleaned up, and moved forward. He spoke eloquently.
As an aside we have relatives who live a stones throw from where Flight 93’went down in Stoystown. Trump commented on the “smell” and I remember they did too. Not just smoke and jet fuel but of the loss of life. Just awful. I like Cruz, and I know he thought he was being “anti big liberal city” but the scars in NYC (and DC and Somerset) are too fresh still to try and joke.
That said, either he or Trump (or any of the others) are million times better than Hillary or Bernie.
