Of all the talking head pimps of the election industry (male or female or other), how many have ever held an elective office at any level? That includes local, county, parish, state or federal.
Since they collectively consume the overwhelming majority of the total communication time (all media), shouldn't at least a percentage of them be speaking from a position of having stated their reasons for seeking office, convincing the voters to place confidence in their ability to get the job done and them getting elected?
I often wonder if any of them needed major surgery, would they seek out the most qualified surgeon or let the procedure be performed by someone who has a record of writing or talking about it?
Then why do the voters tolerate this procedure in selecting our elected officials?
