Mexican drug cartels continue to fascinate the minds of Americans who tend to idolize outlaw gunmen with fast cash, fancy cars, guns and women. However, few realize that Mexican drug cartels are as ruthless and sadistic as Middle Eastern terror groups like ISIS with whom they actually have many tactics in common.
For most in America, the closest they have come to a drug cartel is the small-time drug peddler in the street corner, the glamorous TV shows, or the Mexican narco-ballads. However, taking a step back and looking at their entire structure, and how those drugs got from Central America or Mexico to the street corner in Chicago, can help show some how drug cartels are in fact more dangerous than Middle Eastern terror groups.
1. They Are Responsible for the Drug Epidemic in America — The majority of the drugs that hurt Americans from El Paso to Chicago are shipped through Mexico. As Breitbart Texas recently reported, even Mexican drug lord Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman Loera bragged during a meeting with Hollywood activist and actor Sean Peen about how he was the largest importer of drugs. The claims even drew the ire of presidential candidate Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) 79% who called the interview "grotesque".
2. They Are Responsible for Mass Casualties - According to confirmed murder statistics by the Mexican government, cartel violence has been linked to more than 179,000 murders since 2006. Those statistics don't account for the tens of thousands of victims who have been kidnapped but their remains have yet to be found. In August 2010, Los Zetas executed 78 immigrants in the Mexican farming town of San Fernando. Just months later Mexican authorities found in the same area at least 47 mass graves

These Mexicans don’t even come close to ISIS Muslims. Not even a contest.

I dont think there’s a lot of difference. Both are brutal murderers who revel in violence and death.

Who idolizes murderers except maybe the inner city ghetto dweller.
Well yes, we all know they’re here.
My thought was:
“They’re one step ahead of ISIS. They’re already here and they’re established.”
And the cartels are active and have been for years building networks of gangs in America.
Here in E. Washington where there is a large Hispanic population of agricultural workers, the gangs are killing each other, so I see it as a win-win, for now.
What’s differance,now,does it Make?
ISIS converting Mexicans into islam...that is a powerful thought.
And frankly I resent the use of the word "fear" in any of these articles. It indicates the writers are hide under your bed / we're all doomed! Liberals willing to give criminals like the cartels and fanatics like ISIS exactly what they most desire and strive for. Terror and fear. Anger and willingness to kill them before they have a chance to kill us, and none of the BS of trying to understand their motivations, are how a healthy society should react.

I’ve heard rumors of small, but growing Islamic conversion in Mexico. That would be a Muslim dream come true, allowing them total access to the US, under pretty much any administration.
Being heroin producers would seem to make ISIS good partners for the cartels distribution network as well. All the more reason to close the borders.
Breitbart gets less and less credible by the day.
I am looking for his address. I don’t want to get the wrong guy killed.
