well, sheet...They rape our women in our subways, and kill our citizens abroad.

but, we must welcome the muslims..we must be kind to them...Even when cutting our heads off we should smile and, if we possibly can, say: "thank you. may I have another"

Germany is so effed..

So naturally Merkel will let more Syrians into Germany.

Things will change in Germany-—The Wait will not be long—even East Germany would never put up with this PC Junk. I see a dramatic shift to the Right. The New Germany (a Fifth Reich?) will not be so nice to Islamic Mooches.

Turkey is imploding. Wait a year and see.

The biggest problem with Turkey right now is that they are too closely integrated with the civilized world. Specifically, their membership in NATO is a disaster waiting to happen. They are spoiling for a shooting war with Russia, Greece, Syria, the Kurds, at times Israel, pick one.

This presents a particular problem for the west since:

1. Greece is also a NATO member and when have two NATO member states gone to war?

2. Two of those countries are nuclear powers, Israel and Russia.

3. Three of these countries Israel, Greece, and the Kurds, are, supposedly, strong US allies.

I don't think Russia is going to put up with much from the Turks in the coming year. Why should they? Is Obama going to go to war for Turkey? Are any of the other NATO signatory nations? Germany? The UK? Italy? Canada?

I largely agree, my single caveat being the question on how much of this is Turkey as a whole, or just Erdogan?

The present German Government after east and west Germany united was the forth reich—and it has proven a weak link in German History. The next new Government—the Fifth Reich will be dynamic and Nationalistic—lets hope its a bit more like the first Reich (Imperial Germany of the Kaiser) than the Third Reich of Hitler’s Infamy—but remember-it took the force of half the world years to pull it down.

Erdogan might be insane. He is an islamist and would probably like to reinvent the Ottoman empire. One of his best friends is Barak Hussein. He is a dictator in all but name, Erdogan not Obama. Not yet.

The nation formerly known as "the sick man of Europe" started to lose its way when Ataturk died. There are too warring many tribes to form a true secular democracy. There are no democratic traditions. As Turkey strikes out at its neighbors its neighbors strike back. When everybody in your neighborhood is your enemy, stuff happens.

first Reich (Imperial Germany of the Kaiser)

For historical accuracy - the first Reich was the Holy Roman Empire. Started with Charlemagne in 800 and which petered out in the 1600-1700s before the last vestiges were swept away in the Napoleonic wars.

The Second Reich was established by William when he was crowned at Versailles in 1871. It lasted less than 50 years. The Third Reich lasted only 12.

That kind of outlook would have made the Weimar Republic the Third Reich.

1st Reich—Imperial Germany Otto Bismark and Kaiser Bill—fell due to the defeat in WW I.
2nd Reich—Weimar Republic weak fell to Nazis.
3rd Reich-—Hitlers Nazi state Fell due to poor management, race hate, and disasterious World War Two.
Occupation—dismemberment-—Rump East and West States.
4th Reich-—re built Germany—the present German State with some weaknesses of the Weilmar Republic.
5th Reich—what is coming? Good or evil? Lets hope for the best outcome. If they go fascist lets hope it more Mussolini than Hitler, More Franco than Nazi.

1st Reich - Imperial Germany Otto Bismark and Kaiser Bill - fell due to the defeat in WW I.

2nd Reich - Weimar Republic weak fell to Nazis.

Incorrect!

The First Empire was derived from the "Heiliges Roemisches Reich Deutscher Nation" (962 - 1806). The Habsburg Emperor Franz II divested himself of the title "Roman-German Emperor" and released all Imperial civil servants and organs of their obligations vis-a-vis the "German Reich." Concurrent with his renunciation of the Imperial Crown, the "Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation" (the "First Reich") ceased to exist.

The later epoch of the Wilhelmian Empire was referred to as the "Second Reich." This choice of words implied that it was the successor of the "First Reich" - though without explicitly stating that. The phrase "Zweites [2nd] Reich" was coined in 1923 by Arthur Moeller van den Bruck; in his book "Das dritte Reich," he termed the Roman-German Reich the "First Reich" and the German Empire from 1871 to 1918 the "Second Reich." He expected a "Third Reich" to follow.

The Weimar Republic was NOT an empire, but rather a republic.

Regards,
