Lena Dunham is taking over the Hillary Clinton campaign Instagram account as she stumps for the candidate in New Hampshire this weekend.
Hey y'all! I made it to New Hampshire and I'm thrilled to be taking over the HRC Instagram! Warning: I'm pretty focused on my outfits," Dunham wrote. The post got almost 10,000 likes as of Friday, but also some critical reactions to Dunham's involvement in the campaign.
Dunham also has been making campaign appearances with FIFA Women's World Cup champion Abby Wambach.
Clinton did an interview with Dunham's Lettyletter.com in September and appeared in a brief video.
Dunham's appearance is a way to reach younger voters, even if celebrity endorsements have primarily been a way to simply draw attention. The twist has been the use of Clinton's Instagram account.

Remember the lie Bill and Hillary used against Monica when Monica started telling the truth? Hillary said Monica was doing this for attention - that she was ‘unstable’... wanted to write a book.
Then the Clintons told the press Monica AND her mother were BOTH mentally unstable - and that Bill Clinton was ‘ministering’ to Monica - - out of concern and pity... The press bought the lie and started to run with it when Linda Tripp stepped forward. The Clintons used the power of the state, their War Room, shills in the press, and paid goons in the DNC to attack two powerless women - a mother and daughter... and almost got away with it. The blue dress put an end to the lies about Monica and her mother...
Do young women who came of age recently know the truth?
Republican weren’t as lucky. We didn’t have a ‘blue dress’. The Clintons attacked conservatives with lies about a ‘vast right wing conspiracy’ and stuck the FBI and Southern Poverty Law Center on Conservatives for YEARS... . Like the fake story about the movie trailer (Benghazi)...innocent powerless people were damaged for the sake of Clinton lies. The VRWC lies damaged thousands of conservative Americans and encouraged crap like the IRS going after Republicans.
Young women need to know the truth about what Bill and Hillary are... and what they’ve done.
I don’t know what to say, except that I hope they are as tolerant to straights, christians and other cultures who may disagree with their perspective. Agree to disagree without going to war. In my mind, it will be two partners now united in civil ceremony, but not in matrimony.
Hopefully she doesn’t just post a bunch of naked photos of herself. No naked photos of the beast either please.
