As a father of 3 daughters, oh hell yeah it’d be easy to claim “loss of mental faculties”.

/as a previously 17 year old boy with a 15 year old girlfriend, who sneaked into her house in the middle of the night with her invitation and did the exact as this boy did (fall asleep) - I’m surprised I survived to be a father of 3 daughters.

This is impossible for us now, but arranged marriages in a tight knit community have an advantage in that they allow for sexual union at an earlier age, when the young husband and wife’s sexuality is awakening and powerful. “Be fruitful and multiply”!
