I have read quite a few of your comments now. You seem to have a big problem with Americans being armed from the look of them.

Yep. We cling to our guns and our religion and have antipathy for people...that want to destroy us.

No, I have no problem with people using their 2nd amendment rights. I do. What I have a problem with is using their weapons to intimidate people, to threaten, even almost beg for violence. Read the comments of the Bundys and their militia buddies. They are looking for trouble. We, none of us, need that. It won’t end well.

Oh lord the thought purity squad is out in force.

One of the things Reno brought up during the Bundy stand off was that they haven't been paying any grazing fees for years, hence the seizure order for their cattle. I know they ceased those payments because they felt their grazing fees weren't being used to maintain the grazing lands, but they were still grazing their cattle for free. The Bundy's have plenty of ranchers in their area that don't appreciate them getting away with not paying fees for years.

Nobody should want people from either side to get hurt. This seizing of a federal building is wrong, and not the right way to do things. It doesn't help out the cause of the ranchers. It does play right into the hands of people like Obama who want to take away our right to own weapons. The Bundys and their followers couldn't have picked a worse time to pull a stunt like this.

How about you find out what the Sheriff has or hasn’t done before you pray for that worthless sack. They want to send them back to prison under a new terrorism law, which is retroactive, which violates double jeopardy Constitutional law. The Sheriff is sitting on his hands, because half the population of Burns works for the Fed.

When is the right time to stand up for your rights?

FWIW I can tell by your post that you don’t know much
about the Bundy ranch situation. I’ll assume you’re
just as ignorant about this one.

I’ll freely admit that I’m just now learning about
this, although I was aware of the Hammond’s first
conviction. But I will inform myself about it before
I support or condemn what the Bundy’s are doing here.

I haven’t made any comment on that one way or the other.

The Obama Admin has been looking to start an Arab Spring-style civil war for 7 yrs now... the Democratic party even longer, since 2004. I don’t think they realize how dangerous and unpredictable such agitation against the people is, that there is no such thing as a “proscribed, limited civil war,” and I fear that the same idiots whose foreign policy gave us disastrous, genocidal Arab Winter in the Middle East have not learned from their mistakes ...and are keen to keep pushing for it here as a kind of hail-Mary pass before the election.

This is now a long way past being a local fistfight or gang b rawl. It wouldnot be the first time in our nation’s history that federal troops have been sent in totake the onus off the local LEOs who have to live there after force has to be used to settle the issue. The local Sheriff or State Police ought not be used in altercations over Federal issues, IMO.

They want the real media out. But there are a lot more people awake than during Waco and we actually have a real media now.

These federal sentences are ridiulous and the whole process is a sham with these rigged juries. No wonder US has highest prison rate.

Harney County, Oregon is the fifth least populated county in America, with a population of 7,422 (2010 census) according to the Wikipedia entry.

The federal government does not deserve our respect or support at this time in history. It’s too bad that there are too many conservatives that will support order when it’s nothing other than tyranny.

What am I missing about the Bundy situation? The local BLM office was taking actions that cut off the Bundy's access to lands they had been grazing for decades. The Bundy's felt they weren't getting any service for the range fees they were paying, so they stopped payment. The BLM went to court and got a seizure order for the Bundy's cattle. The Bundys and their supporter put up an armed defense.

In Hammond's case, the BLM and the wildlife refuge had been cutting off pieces of grazing land from ranchers over several decades. The Hammonds had been fighting to exercise their water and other rights to property they owned.

The Hammonds had two instances involving the use of controlled burns which were self reported and then much later the authorities filed charges against two of the Hammonds. After a lengthy court case the Hammonds were sentenced to short prison sentences, served that time and were released. Later, the government appealed the sentences, due to federal sentencing guidelines, and the sentences were lengthened well beyond what is reasonable. The Hammonds are due to turn themselves in on Monday to start those unjust sentences.

STFU. It’s time to look for trouble. Yhis might not be the trouble I want to start but if a large group of free men and women want to make that spot their stand then God bless them. The Feds are completely out of control. Political class gets away with treason, the aft, murder .... So go get on the cattle car and wait. Your time to act is when it’s you personally I suspect.

I for one will NOT let another Waco occur in my lifetime.

re the Hammonds; I’ve already learned that much since the last post I made to you.

As for the Bundy’s you conveniently left out decades of history. Good work!
