” ... Jebbie Bush campaign want you all to know that even though tens of thousands of people are lined up and standing around for hours to see Trump speak tonight, none of them are going to bother voting....” ***********

Jeb is such a fine sport, and savant as well. I mean, stand back. Look at Yeb’s phenomenal rank. LOL!

Thank you for referencing that article JoeSeales. Please bear in mind that the following critique is directed at Mr. Trump and not at you.

While I will gladly vote for Trump for president, please consider the following major constitutional problem with Trumps plan for a national healthcare program. Constitutionally low-information Trump unsurprisingly does not understand, since the states have never delegated to the feds, expressly via the Constitution, the specific power to regulate, tax and spend for INTRAstate healthcare purposes, that Obamacare was wrongly established outside the framework of the Constitution.

By throwing out Obamacare and implementing Trumpcare, Trump will likewise wrongly be establishing Trumpcare outside the framework of the Constitution.

What Trump needs to do concerning Trumpcare is to find out how many states would be willing to ratify a Trumpcare amendment to the Constitution which would give the feds the power to manage a national healthcare program since the feds can obviously do healthcare better than the individual states can (AHEM ! /sarc).

And if the states actually show interest in a national healthcare program than they can ratify the Trumpcare amendment which Congress can then establish.

I also suggest that the states consider requiring lawmakers who propose new amendments to the Constitution which expand the federal governments powers put explicit expiration dates on amendments. The states could still repeal such amendments, or renew them, before they expire.

Meanwhile, Rubio and Yeb’s crowds can fit in the Biloxi bathroom.

I have several medical doctor relatives practicing in US. Hey, I am originally from India, so yes, there are lots and lots of Indian doctors, engineers, professors, and business owners in USA. My nephew, his wife, my bro-in-law, and a few cousins are all medical doctors. Based on their opinions, I created my profile page, and it explains why a market based universal healthcare will be much more cost effective than anything we have had since 1972.

Good point: Biloxi has always been conservative; even ex-U.S. Rep. Gene Taylor had to switch parties, but he was defeated when he did so. I wonder though if Biloxi will tear down Beauvoir and follow the Mitch Landrieu lead. I would be surprised that Trump drew that kind of crowed in Biloxi, but a few weeks back he drew big in Mobile too. Both states would have to vote Cruz if Cruz is to make a real showing beyond the limited Hawkeye appeal.

I had a look at your points on universal healthcare and agree that it should be experimented with.

But first, a note about Obamacare. I do not think that lawless Obama and his thugs were ever concerned about peoples health. Noting that federal welfare is unconstitutional imo, I think that Obama & Company established Obamacare partly to help insure that the Democrats would always have the votes from low-information welfare recipients to stay in power.

I also would not be surprised if Obama wanted to keep the pockets of his his 1% supporters filled with taxpayer dollars.

Getting back to the points that you made about universal healthcare, I think that the individual states should start experimenting with such plans. And there are enough states to find out which plans are good and which plans will not work so well.

And should the states ultimately decide that the feds can managage a one-size-fits-all national universal healthcare program then there is nothing stopping the states from amending the Constitution to give the feds the specific power to do so. Again, include expiration dates on new amendments which delegate specific powers to the feds.

In summary, the federals should get involved in NOTHING. All is needed from the federals is a law which defines the rules under which healthcare can operate. The states could very well design their own system based on federal rules.

Only if a cheap & basic healthcare option is available to cover catastrophic healthcare bills, a mandate to carry insurance can be placed into law. Just like basic liability Auto insurance, one can buy the most basic health insurance to cover catastrophic healthcare bills.

Obamacare was wrongly established outside the framework of the Constitution. >>>>> true but 99% of what the feds do now is outside the framework of the constitutional powers. none of what we have today is even insurance. it is wealth transfers from the working units to the non working units. office visits covered by insurance is insane and that we we have insanity. I don’t think anyone but me could fix it.
