"For though they knew God, they neither glorified Him as God nor gave thanks to Him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened."
Now someone might ask: how have I not glorified God? Or become futile in my thoughts?
To some of the I would respond that there is a shameful phenomenon we see in these days where because someone in a family is homosexual those who "love them" turn their backs on what Scripture plainly says.
"If anyone comes to me and does not hate father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters -- yes, even their own life -- such a person cannot be my disciple."
To abandon righteousness for the sake of the sins of your family, even your own, is not simply spurious reasoning, as if truth should alter because it's convenient for it to do so to you, it is to love the world, the things in it, even people, and not The Lord. It is, if you will pardon the expression, Hell's own kindness.
"You adulterous people, don't you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God."
So this is how we can respond to some who fancy that they glorify God and that their thoughts are not futile. But if you abandon His judgments for your own, if you forget Him though you have known about Him, this is why we find it also written...
"Although they know God's righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them."
We live in days when Romans 1:18-32 are being tragically fulfilled all around us. Now is the day to stand firm even though the whole world, even though your own family, comes to hate you.

The Word reads as it reads. - So many of these parents of
“gays” & other relatives of “gays” jump on the bandwagon,
flap their “tolerant” lips, march in “Gay Pride” parades
& blah . . blah . . blah - thinking they’re really “cool”
and all tolerant, when what they really are is disgusting!

Well, as long as Bishop Tutu is mentioned, the American people will be supportive.

So many millions in England have walked away from Christianity. Is that because Anglicanism led them away, or because the English people pushed Anglicanism to the left?

Well, why does a man who wants to be in another man’s butt suddenly have a limp wrist? Things that make you go, “Ewwww.”

It is probably to the point where as Scripture reads, it is
about to the time when “if any man be filthy, let him be
filthy still (in peace)”. If so, MARANATHA!

And I never understand why so many âlesbiansâ go out of their way to have a mannish appearance. If a âlesbianâ is simply a woman who loves a woman, why the need to appear so mannish? Why the need to singularize themselves, so as not to appear like most other women in our society??? Why the need to not be feminine at all???? If they are so proud of being women and all that???
What is there to "understand"? Such people are mentally ill. There's nothing there to make sense of.
Of course, I realize that your questions may be essentially rhetorical in nature.

So many millions in England have walked away from Christianity. Is that because Anglicanism led them away, or because the English people pushed Anglicanism to the left? Good chicken-egg question. I suppose people, in the flesh, do not wish to hear the Gospel message -- since it presupposes both that man is a loathsome sinner; and that there is absolutely nothing he can do, in his own strength, to get himself in right relation to God (i.e., it is all a matter of God's grace). And, in the face of this, the increasingly apostate "church" gives the people, not the Gospel, but what they want to hear.
And, yet, paradoxically, that itself just empties the pews!
The tragedy is -- and here, I think, we see Satan's hand in play -- those who identify the Anglican/Episcopal church as "being Christianity," and who reject Christianity in the course of rejecting the Anglican/Episcopal church ("If that's Christianity, I want no part of it . . . ."), are lost. At the same time, those who stay in the Anglican/Episcopal church, listening to its false teaching and thinking that "this is Christianity," are also lost.
Satan has long played the same trick with Roman Catholicism, of course. It's a signature move.
