It looks like she's telling jokes...

"How does a Muslim close the door? Islams it! Oh yeah! I tell ya, I'm on a roll today! What do you call a drunken Muslim? A Mohammered. Oh yeah, outta my way! Hello? Is this thing on? What's the difference between a Muslim and a vampire? At some point the vampire will stop being bloodthirsty. Oh yeah! I tell ya I tell ya, drum roll please! Baddap Pshh!"

I agree with her 100%. The other side is that she could have said anything about Christians and it would have been praised as free speech.

Put a liberal in charge of anything and it screws up. It’s a universal truth. They all belong in cages, not in public.

Wait, what does this have to do with Freedom of Speech? Miss America parents aren’t publicly funded, correct? Therefore, the owners or whomever decides these things has the right to suspend/ban people no matter how unfair it may be. Not saying I am happy about it, but this isn’t a Free speech issue.

Freedom of speech is dead everywhere.

Not really, but freedom of speech without consequences may be.

I’d say the Beauty Contest industry is on a roll. /s

The Beauty Contest industry needs the Donald, but he's got better things to do.

“She should have waited until the actual Miss America contest, where she would have had a much bigger and live audience to let the liberals and Muslims have it.”

maybe. . .but even then she would have been stripped of her crown, you can bet on it.

I doubt that she cared about her Miss P.R. title. She wanted an audience and she got it, and using the Miss American pageant would have been a much better and bigger venue for her message.

Okay, she’s lost the Miss P.R. title.

I vote that she be given the Miss F.R. title for this year.

Yes, it is a Free Speech issue.

Her disagreement with Moore had nothing to do with her performance in the pageant. She was stating her opinion which we as Americans have a right to do.

If she had done it during her performance, the people who now run the Miss Universe pageant could take action. But this was totally removed from the show. Any American who holds a job would be denied free speech under your logic.

It is not a government agency and our Bill of Rights has nothing to do with this. It is a private corporation, and, as such, cannot be held to the Constitution. These are not government workers. A private organization can ban or disqualify for any reason because it is not owned by the government or funded by it. I don’t see why you don’t understand this.

In fact, the pageant is apparently owned by Trump. Furthermore, it is not a job—it is a scholarship program. This has nothing to do with employment or employment discrimination. They can ban these contestants for doing sex tapes, which, according to the SCOTUS, is free speech, so why can they disqualify contestants for that, but not for saying something that the people running the pageant don’t like? You act like she was thrown in jail or something and not disqualified from a stupid beauty contest. As I said, I don’t agree, but you can hardly walk into court and say that a private organization that has nothing to do with the government infringed upon your first amendment rights. The Founders wrote the Constitution to limit the government—not beauty contests.
