There was a General Tso/Zuo — in the Qing Dynasty. Lots of stories about it’s origin. But anything sweet/sour in China is not the USA sweet/sour. Less sugar and more tasty in China.

The peas are identified with southern (black culture), but the peas are enjoyed by other peoples. Like this old white dude who clings to his guns and Bible.
