Honestly, I think Trump’s lack of depth on the issues will be glaringly obvious in a one on one debate. His conduct of late is nothing short of reckless. It is one thing to be non P.C. , but another to get into a conflict with the PM of Israel and insult a Saudi prince in the same week. A President should at least be able to get along with our friends and show a bit of diplomacy.

Cruz won’t have any problem on his birth non-issue.

As shoddy as Trump's behavior at debates is, just be glad it doesn't include any of the following:

Trump is trying to bait Cruz.
Cruz knows what kind of guy he’s dealing with.
The video song is the message, not the dancer.
Cruz just made Trump look little league, and took the fun out of trying to bait Cruz.
Took me a bit to think it through, but it’s just a guy thing, a locker room thing. Very effective in putting Trump in his place.
