Throwing conservatives like myself under the bus wasn’t a very good idea. Dooming the GOP might not be a bad idea. America needs an opposition party to battle the DemocRATS. Having two separate branches of the DNC isn’t working.
Trump/Cruz and to hell with the uni-party.
Whether Trump wins or loses a general election against Hillary Clinton is less important in this analysis than the effect his nomination would have on the composition and philosophy of the Republican Party....
No. No. No. If hillary wins in 2016 the country is over. So it is NOT less important in this analysis or any other analysis.
One would have to be insane or HATE trump that much to say it.
And I’m a Cruz firster saying that.
It will only doom them if Trump takes umbrage. So will Trump return the favor to Cruz and endorse him as the nominee? Or will he be his normal self and refuse to do so?
“...A significant number of people, mostly filed in the Republican column, have revealed a streak of Howard Bea... unapologetic, mad as hell and not intending to take it anymore. And whether the election is won or lost, the Republican Party will come back from the battle and need to figure out what comes next. Perhaps it’s not “doom” but something has changed.”
*********************************************************************************
...figure out what comes next? If we play our cards right, what comes next will be taking the infrastructure and leadership of the Republican party from the idiotic RINOs & CINOs and replace them with actual Republican constitutional conservatives.
Trump and Cruz are a tag team.
Without Trump, Jethro would have it in the bag.
“If hillary wins in 2016 the country is over”.
IF ONLY folks realised this fact...the end of the greatest experiment mankind ever launched on its own behalf doomed by the “I’ll take care of you” criminals—dimwitocrat thieves..
You would think they wouldn’t worry about Trumps attraction
to working class voters, after all Obama has done his best
to decimate their numbers.
Somehow I do not see that happening. You do not put someone as your VP you call a maniac.
I am beginning to think no matter how this thing goes we are in trouble. They do not elect Trump, you get a 3rd party, a split vote and a dem win(Perot all over which is what my original thoughts on Trump were). Trump wins I think you get a very bad choice or flat out betrayal as VP and we get to see the real Donald Trump.
That can not be repeated enough.
If Trump wins the nomination, I hope he takes Cruz along as VP. I think Trump would only do one term as president. Why, because as president, you lose all privacy, have to tolerate a lot of bothersome people and the job is mentally exhausting [unless you sub it out to Valery Jarrett as has Obama].
Cruz would then have the exposure and record to win the next election for president. I’m a big Cruz fan.
The GOPe messing with the convention rules to broker out Trump will kill the party and harm our nation. Trump may cry “unfair” and run as independent, thus Hillary [one of Hell’s beasts] win.
We have been in trouble for years now. Now it may be just Trump saying what trump says,IDK,but so many in this country hate the politicians and the media and this could be the perfect storm where the outsider wins hands down.I don’t think the perot effect applies this election but I could be wrong. One thing is for sure is that this election is not going the way the elite figured it would.
Very interesting to see the lock-step REaction to Trump, as if (dare I say?) from a Talking Points memo - from the Republicans. Talk about tone-deaf. Talk about having no clue about the tenor of the voters. ‘Can you hear me now?’
Remember—No Votes have been cast—There will be more papers—more debates and more events to come. Its all up in the air. What happens whenthere is another deadly attack? What happens if Trukey and Russia get into a shooting war? What happens if more scandal hits Hillary? What if Obama blows another speach?
Hey, even Golden State can lose by a non contender, I seems to be the comparison the GOES has between Trump and senor Bush
The GOP-e’s traitorous actions against their electorate (hopefully) has “doomed” them.
As comments elaborated, Trump exemplifies a “Nationalist” and draws support from all the party factions, which support “Country First!” as more important for this moment.
Terror attacks play into what Trump and Cruz have been saying. The rest speak and its nothing more than background noise.
