The Nuclear Option: Is It Time to Invoke the 25th Amendment?
Breitbart.com ^ | 8 Dec 2015 | Charles Hurt

Is it now time to invoke Section 4 of the 25th Amendment?

Has our president officially lost his ability to discharge the powers and duties of his office?

Anyone who listened to President Obama speak to reporters in Paris last week would reasonably conclude it is high time to start drawing up the papers to transmit to Congress for his removal.

If you are one of the millions and millions of literate Americans out there who have simply tuned this president out the past three or four years, that is certainly understandable. But if you tuned in to the long, rambling, empty press conference, you would have been truly alarmed.

Without the use of the teleprompter, his speech can be described only as “halting.” It was impossible to count the number of times he seized up, able to deaden the silence with only a drawn-out “uh,” “um” or “ahhh.”

The White House dutifully scrubbed all the halts and stutters from the official transcript, and it was impossible to count them in real time. But a sample of his incoherent word salad found him stuttering about every 15 words, which comes to more than 330 “uh-um-ahhs” in a single appearance.

This is not the same soaring speaker who inspired so many in 2008. This is a broken-down man who has lost the only gift he ever had. Hope and Change have been hijacked by Hopeless and Changed.

President Obama is so old and gaunt, he makes Keith Richards look like Justin Bieber — no offense to Keith Richards. At least Mr. Richards makes sense when he opens his mouth.

It took the doddering president 47 minutes and over 5,000 words to answer just six questions. And by “answer,” I simply mean he unspooled a torrent of disjointed words and broken sentences.

Evil or incompetent or a surreal combination of the two?

I was always for letting Zero destroy himself along with the democrat party, but it's not clear we can survive another year of his "leadership."

I don’t know all of the provisions of the 25th amendment. But as I recall, both the presidents cabinet members and members of congress have to vote to take actions. Realistically who in Obamas cabinet would do anything???

Has any President used a podium in the Oval Office to address the nation before?

Don’t be silly, Obama hasn’t lost the ability to discharge the duties of the office;
.
.
he never had them to begin with.

The incompetent congress sees only the cocktail parties and brie snacks not the danger to the nation and ultimately to themselves. He should have been removed years ago....for TREASON!

0bama needs to be removed by whatever legal avenue that’s available. I agree that we can’t afford to let 0bama continue his destructiveness for another year.

Joe Biden would have to do it:

Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.

Not going to happen.

"Soaring speaker" my ass. He was a mouth-breathing brainless teleprompter reader with an obnoxious speaking style back then.

Incompetence? No. I think every bit if its intentional and he’s just following the script laid out for him. He’s just The PC model the puppetmasters put into place because they knew it would be a whole lot harder to remove him because of the current PC stage that has been set. Ever wonder why 0 is so intent on importing all of the brownskins? Its just enough to ensure he can’t be removed without a fuss.

Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan would cut off their own heads before they allowed impeachment to be spoken in Congress in any serious way.

Looks like the VP & any group Congress designates could decide:

Section 4.

That's what too much chooming does to you. Oh I would like to hear the stories some of the SS could tell if they knew they wouldn't lose their jobs. I imagine he has a guy on the team who gets the stuff for him gor those hard days when his Muslim buddies are killing Christians and the American people get pissed off about it...
