Former Vice President Dick Cheney condemned GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump’s proposal to ban Muslims from entering the United States.
In an interview with conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt, Cheney said the plan, which Trump announced Monday, “goes against everything we stand for and believe in.â€
“I mean, religious freedom has been a very important part of our history and where we came from,†he added.
Cheney said that there is a “serious problem†when it comes to refugees from Syria and other countries in ensuring they don’t “represent ISIS.
“You’ve got to set up a vetting process—and that’s crucial,†he said.

Trump did not call for banning Muslim worship in the US.
He called for banning Muslim from entry to the US from any foreign country.
And, that's LEGAL and Constitutional.
Plus there is no credible vetting system in place.

Ban is a harsh word. Suspend is better. Don’t know how he said it, but I don’t mind ban either.
I think Trump’s plan is a little too absolute. BUT there is no right by anyone to come in here.
Gee just perhaps the muslim world needs to be on notice to police its own. After all, our “ally” Saudi Arabia is spending billions creating muslim extremists.

Trump did not call for banning Muslims from entering forever but until Washington straightens out a program that is out of control - dysfunctional.
I would argue we should stop all immigration until the millions of Americans without jobs are back on a payroll.
and until we know who and how background checks are being conducted on refugees - stop.
Trump is ripping off the cover of all the pretenders.
