They are now. The genius of progressivism is to insulate government from the populas. A government employee has greater fealty to the government than to any sense of the people.
It will require a revolution as profound as our first one to surrender government to the people. Then, people meant the individual. The dignity of a single person was sacrosanct. Today people are viewed as classes, races or specialty groups, not individuals. This impersonalization has created a cultural environment in which whole classes can be dismissed as civilly disruptive. Progressive attitudes toward Tea Party or gun owners are an excellent case in point.
It would require very little for military style branches of government to be turned against any such group. Always remember, one of the most cultured, intellectually developed, religiously endowed, scientifically advanced societies in history was turned to abject barbarism for sake of Des Deutschen Vaterland and one man's vision of Utopia.
Today here in America we have a radical Marxist muslim sitting in absolute authority over the government. The road back from our present fall from grace will require moral and intellectual character be grown from the small campfires where it survives into a mighty wildfire if the people are to be saved.
It is too late to remove O from office but we can elect the two candidates that will do something after elected.
Trump AND Cruz are our only hope of prosecuting O and H, destroying the uniparty, and the media.
It is time for the two supporting groups to band together and take our country back.
