You seem incapable of seeing the FREAL story here. You focus on exacting numbers instead of the point, the REAL point Trump made and that was MUSLIMS were cheering in the street the morning of the attacks.

You also seem to discard the original claim by your friends in the LSM that the celebrations “never taking place”

So now tell us all why the story from the liberals is now that Trump lied about the numbers and not that the Liberal media LIED when they said the celebrations “never happened”.

Also mentioned NYC cops had to respond to incidents of Muslims being attacked in Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, for celebrating.

He had a copy of a NY Post article of Sept 14, 2001 by Fred Segal(?) that referenced the Paterson, NJ Muslims celebrating.

If anybody actually took the time to see the video on which they are commenting (a rarity for an online discussion) , they will see there is no actual footage of Muslims celebrating. There is only a reporter saying there were reports of Muslims celebrating.

My last comment on the topic. This issue is over a week old and no video footage or photos. This was 2001, not 1901. The only response I am getting is that there is a vast MSM conspiracy (including Fox news) to suppress this footage. One can't argue with logic like that.

And in the interest of full disclosure, I am a Ted Cruz guy.

Fourteen years after the 9/11 attacks, Donald Trump remembers “swarms” as “thousands.” I would call this “forgivable hyperbole.”

Meanwhile, the MSM:
- trots out self-proclaimed “fact-checkers” who claim that there is NO evidence.
- deletes evidence that there were Muslim celebrations in NJ from its websites (NY Post website)

I would deem the MSM behavior as unforgivable misrepresentation of facts for the purpose of deliberately manipulating popular opinion. Some might call this propaganda.

On the overall point, Donald Trump was trying to assert that MOST muslims are anti-American. The MSM is trying to assert that NO muslims are anti-American.

The investigation into this issue has shown that SOME muslims are anti-American. This DOES prove that unvetted Syrian refugees will contain a domestic terror threat.

=> I have to give the edge to Trump on this one as well, even though his assertion is incorrect. While the hyperbole has given the anti-Trump crowd another reason to dislike him, it has forced the issue to become a topic of discussion and it does shine a light on how bad American reporting has become.
