'They want a puppet that they can control, Donald will never be that person'

Although Donald Trump has signed a pledge to support the Republican Party's nominee, that doesn't mean the party's establishment will support him, should he win the GOP presidential nod.

A report by the Hill suggests the big money Republican donors are actually looking to support Hillary Clinton for commander in chief if Trump is at the top of the GOP ticket. Yes, the Democrat Hillary Clinton could be getting millions of dollars from Republicans.

The website says: "In conversations over the past month, GOP establishment donors have confided to the Hill that for the first time in recent memory, they find themselves contemplating not supporting a Republican nominee for president."

When asked for whom he would cast his vote if the choices are only Mrs. Clinton and Trump, the former mayor of Los Angeles and a longtime Republican establishment figure, Dick Riordan, said: "I would probably go find a deserted island."

No third party has ever won the general election. They may influence ideas or make a candidate win ,but they don’t . Perot, Anderson, Geo Wallace, Harry Wallace, Theodore Roosevelt, etc, Not since Lincoln, but he was not a winner the first GOP race. We will get Hillary, and may not have a country after that.

They’d have backed Hillary if Cruz, Santorum, or Jindal had been the nominee too. So what?

Republicans are so used to playing both side$, the thought of actually becoming part of something unifying toward a divergent goal from the opposing team just scares them $hitless.

Trump could lie to them behind closed doors and suggest he would go along business as usual, no need to worry.

And them STIFF EM!

Would be perfect justice IMO.

Nothing new here, actually. Frog and the scorpion parable applies.

Look how hard the GOP establishment tried to destroy Reagan. And before him, Goldwater.

They didn’t like Ike (who was a moderate) all that much, prefering Taft. But after five successive losses they were hungry enough to rally behind him.

Heck, go back over a hundred years and look at how they maneuvered Teddy Roosevelt out of NY (where he was upsetting apple carts) and into what was supposed to be a dead-end job as McKinley’s VP.

So nothing really new here with this. What will happen, if Trump gets the nomination, is he’ll use the gap between getting the nomination and the Convention to cut deals for their support. Just like Reagan did with, among other things, putting GHW Bush on the ticket.

If you think they’re going to allow some upstart from outside their happy little mafia obtain power, then you haven’t been paying attention.

Electoral politics is a dead end for conservatives.

So they're going to sabotage Trump at the convention? Assassinate him? What?

And if the electoral process is dead, what is the end game? Revolution? Tyranny?

The GOPe says the weight of the electorate is against a guy like Trump or Cruz. And to prove it they will put their thumbs on the scale.>>> i don’t think so for either one.

Trump isn’t even that conservative. This is all about money and power and especially illegal immigration.

“Trump is saving a lot of money on ads just by being his own courageous self. You can’t buy this publicity.”

I just hope Trump finds a way to make the planned actions of the “Big Money Boys” and their monkeys, the GOPe. into devastating ads, because we may well have realliy reached the tipping point where America fails as the beacon of freedom for the world.

Turning their own words against them is Trumps stock-in-trade. Only he doesn't need ads, he uses free news coverage!

It’s not stupidity and the sooner you and everyone realizes that, the better.

They are one party. I do not know what more it will take for people to get their heads out of the sand and look that FACT squarely in the face.

This is what ‘lesser evil/no matter what idiocy got America”. It put a bunch of unprincipled hacks together with outright communists. Accept it folks. We did this to ourselves. Now we can pretend we didn’t or we can work to correct our MISTAKE.

And before the usual crew of leftists pops up to defend their actions in destroying America, they might want to point out FACTUALLY where the above is disproven by FACTS in evidence.

If they simply start screaming, hit dog howls.

If Trump wins there will be investigations in to the criminal behavior of both parties at least I hope so.
