Salon Continues Trashing Americans: ‘We Are The Terrorists’
Daily Caller ^ | 11/29/15 | Peter Hasson

Posted on 11/29/2015 4:53:13 PM PST by markomalley

“The real Middle East terrorists? Look in the mirror. We’ll never face it because the media won’t level with us.” That was the sub-header for a Salon piece Saturday, which argued that America is intentionally slaughtering huge numbers of innocent civilians, and the “compliant media” is covering up the truth.

Titled “‘Sorry we killed your family’: We are the terrorists in the Middle East, and our compliant media will never tell the truth,” the piece accused the United States of engaging in “Western terrorism.” The article’s author, Dana E. Abizaid, suggests that America is intentionally killing journalists, hospital workers and Red Cross personnel, among countless other innocent civilians in the Middle East. (RELATED: Did Hospital U.S. Bombed In Kunduz Break International Laws?)

Saturday’s article is just the latest effort from Salon to argue that Americans are either the cause of terrorism or the terrorists themselves.

Two weeks ago, the day after Islamic extremists killed 130 people in Paris, Salon ran a piece titled “Our terrorism double standard: After Paris, let’s stop blaming Muslims and take a hard look at ourselves.”

Ben Norton, the author of that piece, argued that the Iraq War — rather than radical Islam — was to blame for the Paris attacks and claimed that Americans’ “knee-jerk Islamophobia” prevented them from recognizing their own culpability. Islam, Norton argued, was simply a “scapegoat” for the “imperialist West.”

Salon ran another America-bashing piece less than three weeks ago, again blaming America for ISIS’s atrocities. Phil Torres, the author of the piece, conceded that “it may be tempting to blame religion,” before proceeding to blame the Iraq war for ISIS’s cruelty.

Salon’s bashing of Americans doesn’t appear to be a recent phenomenon, either.

Just last year, for example, the progressive blog ran a piece with the headline “We are the terrorists too.” The piece attempted to make the case that actual terrorist organizations are no less “terrorist” than the United States.

Earlier in 2014, Salon ran a piece with the title: “You’re being lied to about Afghanistan: The terrorists there include us.”

That article defended Afghan President Hamid Karzai’s decision to back out of agreements with the U.S. because he was “right to cast the American presence as a primary source of terror among Afghans.”

Dana E. Abizaid - last name is Arabic.

She wants to protect ISIS and their right to rape Christians, murder men and old women, and enslave young girls. It’s cultural, it is wrong for westerners to assume our culture is better than another. All cultures are equal, except ours, which is responsible for everything wrong in all of history.

There’s never any shortage of liberal self-hatred.

If they had their way, we’d all be speaking Russian, Chinese, Japanese, or German. Or Cheyenne.

And who’s financing them?

They get major advertisers like Amazon and Home Depot, just for two that I just saw. Amazon and Home Depot are therefore subsidizing Salon’s regularly posted articles which viciously attack Christianity and belief in God in general, and spew hate towards those who don’t agree with them (wingnuts is one of the kinder terms).

If we ever do get serious about dealing with the cancer that is Islam, then they’ll have something to cry about....

John Quincy Adams on Islam

In the seventh century of the Christian era, a wandering Arab of the lineage of Hagar, the Egyptian, combining the powers of transcendent genius, with the preternatural energy of a fanatic, and the fraudulent spirit of an impostor, proclaimed himself as a messenger from Heaven, and spread desolation and delusion over an extensive portion of the earth. Adopting from the sublime conception of the Mosaic law, the doctrine of one omnipotent God; he connected indissolubly with it, the audacious falsehood, that he was himself his prophet and apostle. Adopting from the new Revelation of Jesus, the faith and hope of immortal life, and of future retribution, he humbled it to the dust, by adapting all the rewards and sanctions of his religion to the gratification of the sexual passion. He poisoned the sources of human felicity at the fountain, by degrading the condition of the female sex, and the allowance of polygamy; and he declared undistinguishing and exterminating war, as a part of his religion, against all the rest of mankind. THE ESSENCE OF HIS DOCTRINE WAS VIOLENCE AND LUST: TO EXALT THE BRUTAL OVER THE SPIRITUAL PART OF HUMAN NATURE.

Between these two religions, thus contrasted in their characters, a war of twelve hundred years has already raged. That war is yet flagrant; nor can it cease but by the extinction of that imposture, which has been permitted by Providence to prolong the degeneracy of man. While the merciless and dissolute dogmas of the false prophet shall furnish motives to human action, there can never be peace upon earth, and good will towards men. The hand of Ishmael will be against every man, and every man’s hand against him. It is, indeed, amongst the mysterious dealings of God, that this delusion should have been suffered for so many ages, and during so many generations of human kind, to prevail over the doctrines of the meek and peaceful and benevolent Jesus (Blunt, 1830, 29:269, capitals in orig.).

Another pro-Islamonazi dupe

http://www.salon.com/writer/dana_e_abizaid/

Dana E. Abizaid is a history teacher and writer based in Istanbul. She has published articles in the San Francisco Chronicle, Baltimore Sun, Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty and Moscow Times.

Get that, she reports for “Radio Free Europe”. Such Western media turned anti-West long ago.

At some point, we Americans will have to come to the conclusion that, it’s far-left organizations, like Salon and Huffungton Post, that are enabling/supporting/condoning the terrorists. We need to recognize that the enemy is within, and that enemy is very open about how they feel about the U.S. To the media that enables Al-Qaeda and ISIS, we are the enemy, which logically makes the enabling/condoning media our enemy the enemy. Siding with the enemy is treason, and traitors need to be treated just like we treat the enemy. No, not by bombing them at their media centers, but, by bringing them to justice as traitors. There was a time when people and organizations were indicted for doing what Salon is doing. We cannot allow them to get away with siding with the enemy.

Salon is just clickbait headlines now. They don’t offer either news or analysis - just headlines designed to tempt the curious of both left and right to click.

I have a question.

How Come after World War II we didn't have Japanese Terrorism?

(I know, I know, people will come up with Guerrilla Actions after the war)

But I mean on this scale.

Al Qaeda, ISIS or Hezbollah.

We sure as Hell killed a ton of their Civilians and Hospitals.

Or Maybe it is because Salon is complicate with the Enemy!?

Are you talking about Japanese terrorism in Japan or in America?

The Japanese Red Army (communist terrorists) did form in 1971 in Lebanon, but that was some 25 years later.

If you look at Europe after WWII you will find that it took America about seven years after hostilities ended in 1945 to quell all of the underground, guerrilla terrorism that still-loyal Nazis caused for our troops.
