Youssif Zaghwani Omar, an assistant professor at the University of Missouri, was arrested on suspicion of child abuse this past week for “allegedly grabbing a 14-year-old female relative by the hair and dragging her into a car after he noticed she wasn’t wearing a hijab.â€
Omar was at a local high school when he saw the girl without the Muslim headscarf.
The Daily Mail reports:
Officer Latisha Stroer told the Columbia Tribune in an email that Omar grabbed the girl ‘very violently by the hair’.
He then allegedly slapped her across the face, and pulled her by the hair down and flight of stairs and into his car.
The progressive academics at Missouri are probably worried about how to “properly†respond: “Will we appear sexist … or Islamophobic?â€

Fortunately, Omar was released on a $4,500.00 bail, so he’s free to beat his daughter in private all he wants to and with complete impunity.

If we are to ‘respect’ their religion, then he should be released and perhaps be paid damages. He did nothing wrong under Sharia. And the daughter is, under Sharia, literally his property, just like a tv set or automobile.

They won't waste the airfare. about 15 years ago I had a sophomore student whose father felt she was becoming to "western" because you could see her socks while she was wearing a pair of jeans. He married her off to a relative that was around 30 living in NYC.

-Treat women as property, deny them equal protection under the law, and deny them an education.
-Practice female genital mutilation.

-Support stoning women for adultery.
