Chuck Todd once again confronted Donald Trump on Meet the Press and appeared to get more and more exasperated with Trump's false claim that thousands of New Jersey Muslims cheered on 9/11.
Todd pointed out that Trump has demanded "pinpoint accuracy" from the media--and at pretty much every rally Trump has called the press "dishonest"--and asked, "Why shouldn't we demand the same pinpoint accuracy in the claims that you make? Isn't it hypocritical of you calling us out if we're not calling you out when you stray from the truth?"
He repeatedly challenged Trump on that 9/11 claim, and Trump still insisted he saw it and bragged that many other people saw it happen and called/tweeted him to let him know that he's absolutely right.
Todd shot back, "That doesn't make it true!"
Trump said the cheering from Muslims happened "all around the world" so "why wouldn't it have taken place."

Todd was weaker than usual today. Very irritated & flustered...at one point Trump had to tell him to calm down...lol! It’s starting to sink into these slimeballs that Trump may get the nomination & possibly win the presidency. The media is feeling helpless & they’re starting to have a meltdown.

I don’t remember any reports about New Jersey to be honest but I very clearly remember reports about Dearborn, Michigan that the Muslim community there was celebratory so I don’t have any real doubts about the fact that this happened elsewhere throughout the country. I saw the Washington Post article and Trump mentions it to FChuck but FChuck doesn’t address it. I wonder why
Hey Chuck, we will show you the pictures of the dancing Muslims when you show us the picture of the tea party guy that spit on Pelosi and Cliburn.
And the reason there aren’t any pictures of the N.J. Muslims dancing is because the media censored those politically incorrect videos 14 years ago - ( before iPhones.)

The author of this article has made a false claim. He is making a statement that Trump lied...without any proof to verify his claim.

Just ONE of the great things that Donald Trump has already done for our country is to cut the strings and let slip the mask of pretend-objectivity that the U.S. media has proclaimed for itself for decades.
Here we see Chuck Todd, not in the roll of questioner, but someone in the roll of a debater, primarily because Todd can’t trap or embarrass or fluster Trump, so loses his cool as an “objective journalist” and simply starts to debate Trump.
This debate between the candidates and those who roll was supposedly to ask questions was even more apparent with the CNBC Republican debate.
And we now also routinely read main stream news articles in which they unabashedly describe overt media ATTACKS on particular candidates, though of course by OTHER outlets.
Donald Trump has indeed already changed the political narrative and has changed it in a significant way.
