(LiveActionNews) -- One decision can change everything. Mitosis, a short film from 18-year-old director Hannah Victoria (Worth Saving), aims to prove that. It may seem that the choices we make for ourselves will affect us and us alone, but it simply isn't true. There is always a ripple effect, whether small or large.
Mitosis tells the story of a young doctor, who after making a promise to a childhood friend, sets out to find a cure for cancer. The film, from Victoria's company Expressionistic Studios, was released on YouTube this week and promises to shine a light on the magnitude of damage each and every abortion could have on the world.

She has achieved a notable level in filmmaking. What are needed now are new forms of syndicated distribution and marketing, likely via social media. Without that part of the industry, films like this won’t penetrate enough to make a difference.
A profit has to be made to create funding for future projects. That means marketing and distribution are essential.
However, the downside is that the popular culture seeks film subjects that allow for escape or for fun and excitement. This subject is a hard reality. Sorry, just telling it like it is. That means commercial marketing and distribution may never be adequate to attract enough viewers to make it profitable. That calls for alternative means to get the message out accompanied by metrics to assess efficacy.
The documentary films made about the diabolical deeds of Kermit Gosnell (http://3801lancaster.com) were also very well-made (extremely so) and were viewed fairly broadly but they were not enough to move the ball to a goal of knocking out the abortion industry.
The undercover films of Planned Parenthoods involvement in the harvesting and sale of baby body parts should have resulted in defunding PP, but so far nothing has been done.
Perhaps President Trump or President Cruz will call for a Commission to study ways to come to grips with the evils of abortion and alternatives to abortion. Legislation is needed to address the problem, but it must be well-thought out and it must anticipate unintended consequences. For example, reforming policies regarding adoption may allow women to bring their babies into the world to infertile couples willing to pay for the blessing of having a child in their lives. Such couples are so distraught that they think nothing of paying $25,000, $40,000 for a healthy baby because they could easily pay more for fertility treatments which may produce nothing. But the unintended consequences of such policy reform would amount to an industry where babies are for sale and that thought is abhorrent. However, there are couple that travel the world over to find that baby for their lives. I know of woman that found her daughter in Kazakhstan and the price she paid was of no consequence to her because the blessing of having a child to love and nurture was paramount.
This is an extremely tough nut to crack, but it must be done.
I hate to say it, but I really dislike the argument that abortion is wrong because of what the kid may do 20 or 30 years into the future.
In some ways, that argument is similar to the argument that abortion is okay because the kid hasn’t done anything yet, and no effort has been invested into the kid that would confer any kind of value on the kid.
The unborn baby has value not because of what he or she might do far into the future, but because at this time, he or she is a living, feeling human being.
