We should offset the bills by asking for credit for all the aid they’e recived, both from our government and from private charitable organizations. I think they will be the ones writing the checks.

I often wonder how different the western hemisphere would be had it been settled completely by the english, and the germans as opposed to the spanish. Would the entire western hemisphere be totally first world?

This just in:

Maurice Strong, whose work helped lead to the landmark climate summit that begins in Paris on Monday, has died at 86, the head of the UN's environmental agency said Saturday.

"Strong will forever be remembered for placing the environment on the international agenda and at the heart of development," Achim Steiner, executive director of the UN Environment Program, said in a statement Saturday.

The statement did not provide details of Strong's death.

Manitoba-born Strong, the first UNEP chief, organized the Rio Earth Summit in 1992, which led to the launch of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.

Too bad.

Meanwhile in Paris: The new Prime Minister of Canada and retired substitute drama teacher, Justin Trudeau, is swaggering around Paris - he speaks French doncha know - presuming to advise Indian Prime Minister Modi on how to manage India's economy - population of India 1.3 billion (2015 est).

They will be their tin cups against their begging bowls screeching for reparations. What do we bill them for burned rain forests.

China and India decline to participate. If CO2 is a pollutant by their refusal to participate in this scheme the whole conference is nothing but smoke, mirrors, and lies.

Global food production has increased greatly over the last 30 years. It has increased not because of more land in cultivation. It has increased because cultivated land has become much more productive due to scientific farming and the increase levels of CO2 in the atmosphere.

Humans eat plants and meat. Plants eat minerals and CO2. When CO2 levels are high plants flourish and man also flourishes.

Perhaps India and China as the greatest producers of CO2 should be given a reverse tax by nations not producing enough CO2. Although this seems in jest if one looks at historical data, the earth is now enduring a CO2 desert. In the past it has been magnitudes higher and life did not die, it flourished as did all life.

CO2 IS PLANT FOOD.
