FR had several members there. I'm sure they'll be checking in as soon as they make it home despite the gridlock around the Sarasota venue and the long drive home through wall-to-wall traffic on U.S. 19 and other main arteries out of the Sarasota area.

Hi Friend,
I was there, saw Kristinn, but no other Freepers. Had fun standing for Trump outside with my truck.

I was set up at 8:15 this morning, the protesters started arriving at 9:30. Their group grew to about 70 and they proceeded to move in on me and stand in front of my signs. They got rather upset when the police told them they had to remain on the sidewalk. :)

Needless to say, not one of them held an American flag. Instead they held signs in support of Bernie Sanders, Black Lives Matter, Welcome ALL Refugees, Welcome ALL Immigrants, and a few Dump Trump signs. Need I say more about them???

I was interviewed by several media folks and they did take pictures of my truck and me with my signs, but were certainly more interested in the protesters. But then, I knew they would.

So there were 70 protesters outside against little old me in support of Donald Trump. But I had a smile on my face as there were thousands of my friends inside at the event! :)
