President Vladimir Putin is fully mobilized to tackle what the Kremlin regards as an unprecedented threat from Turkey following the shooting down of one of its warplanes by a Turkish F-16, the Russian leader's spokesman said on Saturday.

In comments which underscore how angry the Kremlin still is over the incident, Dmitry Peskov, Putin's spokesman, called the behavior of the Turkish air force "absolute madness" and said Ankara's subsequent handling of the crisis had reminded him of the "theater of the absurd."

"Nobody has the right to traitorously shoot down a Russian plane from behind," Peskov told Russia's "News on Saturday" TV program, calling Turkish evidence purporting to show the Russian SU-24 jet had violated Turkish air space "cartoons".

The Russians do know a thing or two about border violations.

If it were me, I’d carpet bomb the base those fighters that shot down my jet came from. Make it a big hole in the ground.

Russia is STILL angry. A whole couple of weeks later.

by being stabbed in the back while fighting muslims.

I know what Putin is. I know the incursions into others’ territory have been frequent.

funny how all the other countries managed to not shoot the russian plane down.

And right now, today, Russia isn’t the one wreaking havoc across the mideast and in European countries.

With obama, Hitlery, and now Kerry, just what could go wrong in the Middle East? Mindless leftist morons.

This is all like a bad dream I can’t wake up from. But then again I’m afraid to wake up, for we could be in the middle of WWIII or CWII or both!

Putin is starting to get his hands full. He’s got a full fledged war in the Crimea, and another one in Syria. I’m not so sure that he wants a third one with NATO. He knows Obama is a pushover, but the UK and France have nuclear weapons, too.

Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.

I bet a lot of Russian wives and girlfriends have taken serious beatings from their enraged vodka drunken husbands and boyfriends over this.

I’ve been hoping somehow Turkey would pay for it’s support of Islamic extremism and ISIS. They’ve triggered their own demise.

"Nobody has the right to traitorously shoot down a Russian plane from behind"

And a Korean Airlines 747 filled with passengers is fair game? I try to be fair minded about them as a people, but if anyone is unqualified to call a violation of airspace no big deal it's a Russian.

This appears to be the game plan as drawn up by the Progressive Retarded Cronies. First action item is to start bombing ISIS by attacking Asad’s forces. Done. Then when the Russians step in because our failure to stop ISIS has threatened Global Stability, we object to their attempts to correct our mistakes. Done. Then we try to threaten the Russians with terrorist attacks from ISIS. Done. Then we threaten the Russians with the Turkish NATO military. Done. Then a Russian plane gets deliberately shot down in an act of war. Done. And why has all this microagression been emitted from the Sunni Turk/Saud/US/Euro coalition ? Apparently they want illegal oil trading for ISIS oil to continue. Ah. Cronyism. Got to love it.

France is coordinating their military with the Russians in the ME now. NATO is not going to war over Turkey.
