Republicans are riding high with white voters, but need to win over American minorities if they expect to recapture the White House in next year's presidential election, influential GOP consultant and policy adviser Karl Rove tells Newsmax TV.
"It's not just Latinos. Republicans have to do better among African-Americans, Latinos and Asian-Americans because we're tapped out — we're taking six out of every 10 white voters," Rove said Wednesday on "Newsmax Prime" with J.D. Hayworth.

GOP Needs Majorities not Minorities. The slicing and dicing the Minorities to win elections is a Democrat idea—I think Karl Rove is a closet Dem-Prog.

One of the errors that Rove and Company make is lumping all, say Hispanics, together.
There are many Hispanics who consider themselves Americans of Hispanic descent.
They do not like the Illegals and feel that they are being used to promote policies that they oppose.
Supposedly on Monday 100 black ministers are going to come out and support Trump!
Rove is again wrong. Trump simply needs AMERICANs to win. Race and ethnicity do not matter.

I am minority.
It would be nice to increase the share of minority votes. However, Romney could have received 70 percent of Hispanic votes and still lost. But if he had received just 4 percentage points more of the white vote, he’d be president today.
Chipping away at minority votes doesn’t win elections for Republicans so much as it makes Democrats spend money and time on voters they thought they had in the bag, thus diverting them from other uses.
