Colorado Springs, the location of an attack on a Planned Parenthood clinic that left three people dead, is a centre of rightwing Christian culture with a “wild west mentality†when it comes to guns.
The attack, by a lone gunman carrying a rifle or shotgun, took place at a clinic that is the site of regular anti-abortion protests by the city’s pro-life Christian groups.
Planned Parenthood, aware of hostility about their work, recently moved to the new facility, hoping it would provide more security for staff.
The building has been likened to a fortress by anti-abortion campaigners and Friday’s attacks revealed that it is equipped with “safe rooms†for staff to shelter in the event of such an event. It also has an extensive security camera system.
With anti-abortion policies supported by many Republican presidential candidates such as Ted Cruz, Rand Paul and Jeb Bush, rhetoric attacking Planned Parenthood and other such organisations is not hard to find in the city.
Last spring, following the gruesome attack on a Colorado woman who had her unborn-baby ripped from her womb with a knife, state representative and Springs resident Gordon Klingenschmitt said the attack was “the curse of God upon America for our sin of not protecting innocent children in the wombâ€.
Colorado’s second largest city, with a population of 445,800, has built itself a reputation as a playground for white, pro-gun, pro-life Evangelical Christians. It is also home to one army base, two air force bases, and an air force.

As opposed to Chicago, the Nations' third largest city with a population of around 2.7 million people, which has built itself a reputation as a playground for black gangs and the morally corrupt, who kill at will despite the fact that guns are all but illegal in this uber-liberal cesspool.
He has been identified- he is a white crazy-looking dude named Robert Lewis Dear who holed up in PP but did not harm their staff or patients according to PP director.
Some people are unsubtle and need these things to be explicit or they are, at best, confused. I try not to talk to such unless they are relatives because I don’t announce the ironic nature of something I say before I say it due to it being fairly obvious.
The Graun’s take on events is always as amusingly ignorant as it is dishonest.

Apparently he chose the PP building as a matter of oportunity and convenience, perhaps because it was pretty well fortified. That fortification works both ways if the door is not locked at all times and credentials are not required for entry.

I’ll bet they find this guy is a Hillary supporter. Someone who voted for’’ Hope And Change’’ . This is one of the ways the Left operates. Creating the chaos and then managing it. The real violence is taking place in the abortion clinic everyday. Some of it funded by our taxes. To paraphrase Jefferson(I believe) this is what he and The Founders warned against. The tyranny of the minority. Jefferson made reference to ‘’forcing the citizen to contribute(funds, revenue) that we he does not subscribe; is tyranny.’ Its more than that now. It’s what fascism can really look like.

Colorado Springs shooting that the left originated at a Planned Parenthood actually occurred at a Chase Bank in what sounds like a botched bank robbery.
