Saudi Arabia sentences maid to death by stoning for adultery - but the man she slept...

A married woman has been sentenced to death by stoning in Saudi Arabia after admitting to adultery - while the man she had sex with has escaped with a punishment of 100 lashes.

The 45-year-old Sri Lankan woman who had worked as a maid in Riyadh since 2013, and her partner, also a migrant from the island nation, were both convicted of adultery in August.

However, their sentences were very different. 

While the woman was told by a Sharia court she would be pelted with stones until she died for cheating on her husband, her lover was handed only lashes - because he was single at the time.

She was married and he was not. According to the article that was the distinction, more than their sexes, that determined the severity of their sentences. I am no fan of the Islam, but the distinction is just. I personally believe his crime was equal to hers for he took from her husband what was his alone, she violated the trust of her husband and cuckolded him; any children that she bore would be suspect. Islam is known for its brutality, but even a blind squirrel finds an acorn every now and then.

America would be a better place if we protected marriage and criminalized adultery. I am not opposed to stoning Bill Clinton and having Monica Lewinski face the lash. Democrats have the sheeple convinced adultery "is just sex", but really it is about protecting the family which is the foundation of society. Adultery (the sex act outside of marriage with at least one party married)is not a private matter between two adults, it is a criminal matter between two families. If its about equality then stone Monica too.
