Are you sure you understand their tactic?

Many conservatives who are disgusted with the GOPe have registered as independents and therefore, are not allowed to vote for conservative republican Ted Cruz or Donald Trump in the VA State GOP Primary.

Obviously this is no longer a free country. Why the hell should ANYONE have to pay a fee to register to become a part of ANY political party or group? I will vote for whomever I choose and have NO INTENTIONS of having to pay to do so.

At one time when “GOP” meant something, we sent funds to the people we believed to be the best representative(s). NO LONGER! When ever a fund solicitor calls, we clearly state that we NO LONGER SUPPORT THE REPUBLICAN PARTY.

Uhh, no. VA is an open primary state. People are not registered by party preference. On primary day, you ask for the party ballot you wish to vote. This is an attempt by the VA gop to get those voting to swear their loyalty to the gop.

The VA gop is deeply hated within VA, especially by conservatives. So conservatives will be relictant to sign a pledge associating themselves with the party. “Hive of scum and villainy” is an understatement.
