He would be an effective VP if given power. He could then springboard to President in four or eight years. Trump may only want one term and if effective enough only need one term
I would consider Chris Christie as AG or Trey Gowdy.They are both bull dogs and would have orders to go after the IS, ATF,and previous administration on every last speck of dirt.
Prison time for Obama would be the cause!

Even better — the press conferences where his Press Secretary Ann Coulter tells reporters to Fu@k off! I’m in Heaven dreaming of Ann (or similar) taking on the MSM in a press conference.
